Jam for Bread

Jam for Bread is current on hiatus...

03/12/2019

Jam for Bread is very grateful for your donations over the years. While this may be the last year for Jam for Bread, it may pop up again in some other form. And Westminster will continue to support Crosswalk in any way we can.

Thank you to Dan Maher for donating his time (including travel time from Pullman). Everyone loved his energetic performance with his audience participation songs. Thanks to SAYC for their many years of preforming at Jam for Bread.

Thank you again for your support of Crosswalk and Spokane’s youth. We raised $2,300.00. Since this money is not earmarked for a specific purpose, Crosswalk will be able to use this money for GED costs, bus passes or other needs.

If you attended Jam for Bread -Thank You from Jam for Bread! What a great turn out with Crosswalk kids joining us again this year. And we had a surprise visit from three members of Kinky Boots. (The day before they had stopped by Crosswalk and gave the kids free tickets to Kinky Boots.) Jam for Bread couldn’t happen without all the amazing Westminster Volunteers who help. Thank you to Vern Windham for another great job of as emcee. Thanks to Kim’s Café Jammin’ kitchen crew. The food and drinks were the best ever. (They sold out of Italian Sodas.) Thank you to Angus Scott Pipe Band, SAYC and Heather and Villa Blues and Jazz. All three groups give us music to love. And we can’t forget all the businesses and individuals who contributed items for those amazing Raffle Baskets. And a huge thank you to Alan Borgens, our Logistics Manger. When the final tally comes in, we should be well over $2,000.00 to help Crosswalk stay open 24/7.
