The Words of God women’s summer study wrapped up this week and I can confidently say, we were blessed! Meeting together for fellowship and the word of God for six weeks has been life-building. We were refreshed in John 3:16, being reminded that as often as this verse is quoted, it will never lose its power. It’s simply a big, wonderful truth that God loves us! The promise of assurance in 2 Corinthians 4:18 encouraged us that, despite our trials and trouble on this earth, we have an eternal home waiting for us. In John 16:33, we found the promise of peace in this chaotic world, courage, and God’s promise that he has overcome the world. The study of Galatians 5:1 gave us 2 weeks to dive into the freedom we have in Christ. And finally, our last week pulled it all together in 2 Peter 1:3-4; we have everything we need to live a Godly life. We don’t need to make ourselves better, fix what’s broken, or find other ways to increase our value to him. He’s already gone before us, and everything we need has been provided for us by his divine power.
I’m so thankful for the time God provided to do this study. These last six weeks have been a really encouraging time for me personally, and I hope it encouraged others as well. It was truly a blessed time. Thank you so much. ❤
We don't have to go to a far away place to share the Gospel. We were challenged this past Sunday to preach the Gospel in love to everyone God brings into our lives. Right here, right now, in the places we already live, work, and play. How has your week brought opportunities to show love to your neighbor?
There are still spots for the 5 day club starting tomorrow! For kids ages 5-12 everyday next week from 10-11:30

Join us this morning to worship a God who wants ALL people to be saved. We will see how in the early church they had to be mindful to preach the gospel to everyone everywhere just as we need to do today. See you at 10:30!

Just one more study left in our Words of God summer series. 😲Seriously y’all, that went fast!
We completed the second half of our verses about freedom yesterday and had a great conversation over some wonderful scripture. A definition I found that sums up our study of freedom very well; freedom is “deliverance from bad servitude to good servitude.” In the words of the iconic Bob Dylan, you gotta serve somebody. There’s no way around it, and choosing to serve Christ brings freedom. As Romans 8:1-2 tells us, “there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus, because the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.” Thank you, Jesus!
Next week we’ll be studying the promise of the divine God--as in, he promises us everything we need for growth, faith and fulfillment in him. The study is based on 2 Peter 1:3-15, with a focus on verses 3-4. We’ve had such a great time in this summer study, and we hope you can join us for our last week together!
Hope to see you at 10:00 on the 30th!
Looking for things to do with the kids this summer? Join us tomorrow morning at Friendship park, everyday next week for a 5 day club, and every Sunday!
Jesus' life, death, and resurrection were part of God's plan to save us. This is great news! We need to share this message in ways that connect with people because everyone is invited to believe and be forgiven through Christ.
See you at 10:30 this morning as we continue through the book of Acts.

This week we dipped our toes into studying the freedom Christ promised us. It was a big bite to chomp off with lots of good discussion; in fact, we only made it about halfway through the verses associated with freedom in Christ, so we’ll be continuing this topic next week! Come join us if you can; we’ll do a quick recap then jump into the next set of scripture. In the meantime, I’ve included a few verses below for you to contemplate this week if you’d like to get a head start before we meet on Tuesday.
1 Corinthians 6:12, 2 Corinthians 3:17, Luke 4:13-14, Psalm 119:45-47, Psalm 118:5, Acts 13:38-39, 1 Peter 2:16, Colossians 1:21-23, Romans 8:20-21, Romans 8:1-4, Isaiah 61:1/Luke 4:16-21
Hope to see you at 10:00 on the 23rd!

What a journey this is. While studying several verses over the last few weeks in our time together, we’ve also been experiencing yet another scripture, Hebrews 4:12, which says God’s word is alive and active. No doubt about that! This week was John 16:33, which is so packed we broke it down into a few separate promises, including peace, courage, and overcoming the world. By exploring several pieces of scripture alongside Jesus’ words in this verse, we discovered how consistently these promises are upheld throughout the Bible. Whether we’re feelin’ it or not, these are solid truths-- God-given promises we can’t ignore.
Next week we’ll dive into the promise of freedom. Galatians 5:1 says, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Are you taking hold of this freedom? Do you believe it’s even possible? Dang, girl, come on over and let’s talk!
Hope to see you on the16th; let us know if you want to join!
Looking for something fun to do with the kids before that afternoon heat? Everyone is welcome to come and meet tomorrow (Wednesday) morning from 9-11 at Friendship Park. Play at the playground or the splash pad, hang out with other moms and kids before the day gets too hot 💦🛝⛱
I know there are some of you who are always cold on a Sunday morning and tomorrow will be a day for you! The air conditioning in the building is not working and we are waiting on new parts. Hopefully the cooler morning air will keep it bearable during service. See you at 10:30 tomorrow 😎
The second week of our women’s summer “Words of God” study took us to the promise of assurance. In 2 Corinthians 4:18 we leaned into fixing our gaze on the eternal truth that can never be tarnished by the temporal troubles of our world. Pain and heartache will chase us here on earth, but we have hope beyond this life; these things will fade when set against the backdrop of our forever home with the Lord.
Next week we’ll explore the promise of John 16:33, where Jesus commands us to be courageous...but why? Hope to see you there, so let us know if you’d like to join!
Happy Independence Day! We are grateful for the freedoms we have in this nation and the ultimate freedom that we have in Jesus!
In times when everything seems to be going wrong, how can we stay alert to recognize and respond to God's unexpected ways of working in our lives?
As we study the early church in the book at Acts, we see how God is working in His people and this is still true today. Join us today at 10:30 as we worship a God who is always in control!
See you here in person or online at www.youtube.com//streams
In our women’s summer study, “Words of God”, we reached into God’s promise of love and took a look at John 3:16, possibly the most widely quoted verse in all scripture. It’s hard to get a fresh perspective on words we hear so often; but as much as it’s familiarity may seem to mellow its effect on us, it never loses its truth or power. God’s sacrificial love for us has never diminished, and NONE of God’s promises have ever failed.
Next week we’ll be uncovering God’s promise of assurance. If you’d like to join, let us know!
