Originally from Phillipsburg, New Jersey, Andrew moved to Spokane for an MFA in poetry at Eastern Washington University. He loves Spokane's art community and has made it his home.

Three fun facts about Andrew:

▪️ He won a Cap'n Crunch sweepstakes as a kid!
▪️ He snagged the AWP Intro Journals Award for Poetry in 2022.
▪️ He also works at the MAC.

Andrew loves being around artists and creatives because it sparks his own creativity. Andrew mainly writes poetry, but he's also been drumming for 17 years. A standout moment for him was attending a Patricia Smith poetry reading in college, which deepened his love for poetry.
