Can you do a proficient Spin Hook Kick and Tornado kick and are interested in being a part of a PhD study at WSU? Our former student Elizabeth Jones currently has a study to measure kick speed and kick force to inform safety procedures in the sport. Please comment below or contact Master Klinger if you are interested.
Wishing Master Schwebs a happy birthday with cake, a sword, and teamwork!
Some pictures of all the fun students had at our summer day camp on Saturday!

Do you know someone 8-17 years old that is interested in trying some free martial arts classes? We have partnered with the DEA Educational Foundation martial arts program for youth to provide a free and positive alternative to drugs through martial arts. Classes are on Saturday's from May 4th - June 1st.
We have class as normally scheduled this week. Happy birthday to Ms. Shatzer! Here's a picture of our kids sparring class this Friday before they teamed up together and got 2 head kicks on her for 200 pushups!
There's never been a better time to join our sparring class. Due to popular demand and to keep class sizes small we now have two sparring classes.
Ages 4 - 12 Beginning Kids Sparring:
Every Friday 5:10pm - 5:50pm
Ages 13+ Adult Sparring (Or kids with significant sparring experience)
Every Friday 6:30pm - 7:15pm
Tournament registration is closed and times for competitors have been posted and brackets have been made. Everyone should have an email with all of the information.
Some notes from the email:
Please note that NO FOOD or BEVERAGE other than water is allowed in the gymnasium. That's not my rule and I dislike it, but every school gymnasium in Spokane has these rules in their contract and I couldn't avoid it. There are a few ways we can adapt to the situation though.
You should have a decent idea of the schedule once you look up your name and you can plan your meals before the tournament accordingly.
Admissions and the gym open up to the public at 8:20am. The northwest entry gym door should be open at Yasuhara middle school. There will be plenty of bleachers for everyone to sit down at for family and friends to watch.
Please remember to bring cash for admissions for non-participants/non-school owners/non-volunteers. Admissions last the entire day. Ages 18+ $10, Ages 4-17 $5, Ages 3- Free.
Please arrive at/before your scheduled staging time.
Today is the last day to sign up for the tournament. I will be making the brackets tomorrow. The brackets will be emailed out sometime Thursday so everyone knows what time they are competing.
2024 Taekwondo Championship - Integrity Martial Arts Spokane This is meant to be for everyone regardless of their skill level and should be a fun, inspirational tournament and not overly competitive.
We have broke last years record for the amount of students competing. There is still space for more competitors. Shoutout to Missoula Taekwondo Center for currently having a lead for most students signed up outside of our school. They currently have a little advantage going for the team trophy. The extended early/normal registration ends
Tuesday Feb 27th at the end of the day. The last day to register is Monday 3/4.
The Integrity Martial Arts demonstration team performed a great show last night at the Gonzaga Men's basketball halftime even with multiple team members injured. Good job to everyone that subbed in to the various skits and everyone getting the last minute changes down.

We have been scaling up our tournament each year and I'm happy to announce that we will be hosting our first tournament open to all that wish to participate.
This tournament is geared towards beginners to have a great first tournament experience with a variety of events to compete in and win medals. We will have gear available for students that would like to borrow it. For advanced students this is a great tournament to get more experience for state/regionals/nationals.
Just one month until our martial arts demonstration at the Gonzaga Men's basketball game on February 24th!

Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day! Just a reminder that we are having classes today.
Congratulations to Master Schwebs for training hard and competing in both poomsae and sparring at the US Masters Cup in Texas! The US Masters Cup had people from across the national competing as well as competitors from a lot of other countries. He did a great job at both events and earned a hard fought 3rd place in each event.
Our younger students having a little fun before the end of class.
Throwback to 2 years ago when we had a few days to practice to perform a demo for a tournament in Montana during the lunch break.

🥋 Congratulations to the incredible students of Integrity Martial Arts who showcased their dedication and skill at the recent tournament in Kalispell, MT! With over 100 competitors, our team truly excelled.
🌟 Our students performed exceptionally well in poomsae, winning nearly three times as many matches as they lost in their respective divisions, based on rankings. In the sparring category, our team collectively outperformed the average.
🏆 Despite having only 7 competitors, we proudly brought home a remarkable number of medals, securing 3rd place in the overall medal count. This is a testament to the hard work and perseverance of our students.
💪 It's always a pleasure to witness all of the students' dedication to training, their relentless pursuit of improvement, and their willingness to step up and compete. Thanks to all of the competitors, judges, and schools that work hard to make this possible! 🙌
All past and present students and their families and friends are welcome to attend our FREE Halloween party tonight.

Congratulations to Josh on becoming a national champion in sparring! Master Klinger wasn't feeling well, but also medaled getting 2nd place in sparring out of 12, losing the finals by a point. Ms. Shatzer also did well, but didn't place this year. The black belt division is significantly tougher than the other divisions.
Congratulations to Josh on first place in poomsae at Nationals. Also congratulations to Master Klinger for getting 2nd in his division for poomsae at Nationals.
