I Remember when I bought my first building-a little 1930 service station in Vinegar Flats.. I loved this little neighborhood, someone once said we were the ugly duckling on the block. ( maybe in the beginning we were). However- I’ve believed this historic neighborhood has the potential to once again become a recognizable diamond in our Spokane Crown. Neighborhoods first. If I just have one piece of advice to give to city leaders, it would be that. Put the neighborhoods first. Prioritize the people. Do your absolute best to make your residents love your city so much that it hurts. Listen to them. Engage them. Respond to them. Make them the stars of your show. Lift them up so they feel like they live in the greatest city humanity has ever constructed. Tell me- what’s your beloved Spokane neighborhood?

Day 1 after Terrain!
Chaps was asked to provide a last minute private event . No dinner tonight. So sorry!! I promise I’ll make it up to you… they were desperate ❤️🍒

Good morning friends. Yesterday as we finished the setup we were notified of the proximity of an impending emergency evacuation. Of course we had to make the decision to hold- however hopeful, we are planning to come together TODAY.. this event is very important for the Spokane community and therefore without hesitation we remain safely convicted to trying again. Chaps will close today so our staff can participate. Thank you for the beautiful support yesterday. Your friend Celeste
