Regards from the former Shifter Guy. I am sure many of you has seen the post about the sale of RADesigns Products to Winn Capital/Behemoth Drivetrain,L.L.C. I can see this only being a great next step for what I created and am looking forward to follow where RADesigns Products goes.

So let me start first with saying how I appreciate each of you customers that has helped me with this 15yr+ journey, without you it could not have happened. Thank you. And of course to my wife Bonnie DesJardin for supporting me. Love you .

Why did I choose to do this? Well, I am at the age that I had to consider what do I do with my business when I retire? I couldn’t build shifters forever and I needed a way to keep what I started to carry on. I mentioned this on FB earlier this year not knowing what the outcome would be. Here it is, a great company to continue what I created.

I have had the pleasure to meet many great people coast to coast and talk with people worldwide. Yes, RADesigns Products has a presence on every continent but Antarctica, go figure.

I didn't sell any of my equipment so my design and fabrication projects will go on as RD Built, just not related to the products I previously sold.

The big to do’s are my 72 Jeep Commando, this is on the top of the list, LS based drivetrain swap seems eminent, but a built up AMC V8 with EFI and a 4spd auto would be cool also. Regardless lots of build and design work to do. Then there is the 1975 John Deere garden tractor resto-mod, and believe it or not I am already making custom parts for them. Well of course there are the 25 projects(so far) on my small to do list. And of course family projects.

So the serious part, I am no longer the contact for RADesigns Products, I won’t be answering messages and emails about the products RADesigns Products makes and sells. The ties have to be cut to make this work, please be patient. Remember I created and it will live on, just not through me.

When I can I try my best to improve products if there is an issue. A phone call about the tap switches suffering damage. This is the current solution, simple bolt on guard.

The CNC machines were cranking this weekend.

VX to Winters This adapter kit allows you to mount the VX where a Winters side mount was designed.

Doing some work on the Rock Tech Racing buggy, shorter by 10-1/2" and all capped up.

Maintenance time for the RADesigns Products built Rock Tech Racing rock crawler.

6R80 cable bracket change. Feedback says an Atlas shifter tubes hit existing bracket. So I suppose a simple change is needed.

Made a bracket kit for my VX to mount a Dakota Digital display unit.

Some of you probably have never designed something on a napkin with a Sharpie, it's a real thing. 😉

Apparently years of 4 and 6cyl engines have left be unprepared to handle a built 350 going fast in the trees. That poor little tree may not survive but Red Rage is ok. Thought I had more room after the jump.......🤔🙂 and then I ran out of gas.
