The colorful Expo ’74 pennants captured the environmental theme of the World’s Fair. The vivid pennants incorporated elements from nature along with key attractions, such as the Gondola ride with breathtaking views of Spokane Falls. Using the original artwork as inspiration, Washington Trust commissioned the design of commemorative anniversary pennants. Borrowing from the initial palette, the anniversary souvenir draws the eye to Spokane’s natural, vibrant center.
Washinton Trust branch locations across the Inland Northwest have commemorative anniversary Expo pennants available, but the limited-edition souvenirs are running out. Be sure and stop by a Washington Trust branch to grab yours before they’re gone.
