I’m saddened to say that the person who did a go fund me did not do as the should have and kept the money, it’s sad at a time like this people can really show you their true colors! I’m sorry to anyone who donated I will ensure your money comes back to you. I feel selfish for doing one for myself because there are people that are in worse situations.

I’m sure most of you are aware that we had an electrical fire Monday morning, because of the water damage to our office our system that had our Facebook account got water damaged so I had to try and recover our account and thankfully I finally I was able to. I’m at a loss right now for 10 years you guys have been one of the biggest parts of my life. I’ve had a job to count on every day,I’ve had you guys to count on every day and you guys have gotten me through some of the hardest times in my life and I just don’t have either one right now it’s definitely leaving me in tears since Monday. We did have insurance and so our personal property will be taken care of. I believe the building is going to get redone so we’ll be able to open up in a few months. You know normally when something like this happens in my life, you guys are there I guess I just didn’t understand until right now just how much you guys impact my life and I think all of you guys so much ,you guys just aren’t customers you became apart of my family and some of you I see week after week. And just know you guys are all missed really you are and I can’t wait to be back that way. Hopefully I’ll see everybody. That’s what I have to look forward to . If you haven’t noticed Sparky’s was closed Monday and Tuesday and I’m so very sorry to anyone that attempted to come in and saw our doors closed and locked . I had a medical emergency that I needed to deal with. Over the last week I have been getting severe migraines that last several days .I woke up Sunday after sleeping most the day ( and if you know me sleep isn’t my favorite thing to do) with a half red eye that was cloudy to see through the right half of my left eye. I was able to get into my primary doctor and with her tests she suspects I had an eye aneurysm. It’s definitely been emotional roller coaster, to think that this could’ve been more serious and how close it was to a brain aneurysm! We truly do have the best customers around no matter what we go through in life we still try to be here no matter what, and we do it for you guys. We appreciate your patience and understanding and I hope to see you guys in this coming weeks

We will be closed until further notice as we have no power! Our area lost power about 20 minutes ago and we are not expected to have power back on until about 2:25 ! We are so sorry for the inconvenience convenience this is causing 😔

Torin from Spokane Fire Department came in today and smashed the Hazmat Challenge beating Keith’s time at an amazing 8:01 beating Keith by 7 seconds! Way to go Torin from Q13

We will be closing for a bit for an emergency! Me and the slicer we’re having a dispute and it won so have to have the emergency department check my finger out!

We will be closing early today. I’m pretty sure I caught a tummy bug and want to be precautions and not pass it around. Praying with lots of rest and medication I’ll be better by the morning! I appreciate you all understanding and I stayed as long as I could manage.

With the Holiday season approaching we have decided we are going to OPEN our building out for parties done on Saturday and Sunday. Pricing depends on Catering and any special accommodations you may need! There will be a $30 non refundable cleaning fee. So if you have a company party, small wedding (we did my parents 40th vow renewal here) game night or just want to get together with friends let Sparky’s be your gathering place!

I had a worried mama reach out to me this morning about her missing son! If you have seen or know where Avory is please reach out to me or ask him to please message me it’s my understanding he does not have a phone on him! Iunderstand both sides of a parent and a child and I only want to make sure his mom at least knows he is ok! If he needs someone to talk to I’m all ears as most of you know my past and I would never judge him! We all go through times where we feel a way nobody else can understand and I just want him to know his voice is important to me !

We are still OPEN and have not closed! I have gotten about 10 calls today asking this and yes of course we are! Sparky’s opened up in fall of 1994 as Sparky’s Firehouse Subs and in 2015 when Firehouse (corporate) came to Spokane we were sued for the Firehouse portion of our name. So we became Sparky’s Subs. We are the same locally owned family ran sub shop and have never been corporate , I know this has caused confusion for everyone over the years especially when they have our sandwiches and go to Firehouse Subs we would hear meat quality was off and it’s because we are 2 separate places.And please share away

Do you have a child that likes to draw? Well we have 5 BIG windows that I would like kids to paint for the fall season! I thought it would be a wonderful way to get our kids active and us have beautiful fall windows! We will seat a day in the next few weeks to get it done. So if you know of a child comment below and we will get their artwork on our windows !

I’m so sorry guys I thought I made a post on this Facebook yesterday but apparently there is another one. So it’s to late to say that we were closed yesterday but you know me and know that I’m a very transparent person and with you all because well to me your more then customers and you all have a huge place in my heart. What I thought was an injury to my knee is a little more serious then that. Yes I do have a torn LCL that is leaking fluid and causing issues but I also have a disease on my femur (Bone Cancer). And to be honest, I couldn’t get it together yesterday to be here. I found out the night before just before closing and I needed a day to process things. I know there’s been a few comments made in store lately about how I’m a little bit slower and things aren’t getting out as fast but I’m one person with the leg brace trying to run the store and I do it with a smile so if I’m not as fast as I always am { I still think I’m fast lol}be patient with me please I really am going through a lot, but I refuse to not come to work . I know things have been a little crazy with some closings that we’ve had to do early and I am more than appreciate everybody for understanding. I think for the time being we’re gonna be closed Saturdays and this usually happens in the winter. But I felt like I needed to make this post especially yesterday explaining why we were closed. And the people that honestly have came in the last few weeks and had a conversation with me I needed that more than anything. And I’m looking forward to everybody’s presence in the future. You guys are what has gotten me through so many things without even realizing but I’m gonna need you just one more time I will keep you guys updated. I do have a doctors appointment coming up on the 18th for a second opinion with Rockwood but you know me I’m an open book so of course I had to tell you guys. I hope you all have an amazing weekend and hopefully will see you soon.

I personally want to think everybody that has came in the last few weeks I really needed to see everybody’s smiling faces and thank you. Also, for understanding of our quick closures as I’m the only one here at the moment ,my daughter is at a vets office.A month and a half ago I had an injury to my knee I thought it was just a simple twist of my name and it’s worse than that. I tore my LCL and MCL and I need surgery. I haven’t been as fast as I normally am because I’m in a knee brace as you know, no matter what I’m here and I don’t give up so your guises smiling faces have really made my days better so I just wanna thank you guys and kind of keep you updated on what’s been going on.
