Favorite thing you have ever created?
"Honestly I have a top 3 list of things I've painted, but my favorite thing I've created would have to be our business. My husband and I very recently bought a building where they sold and repaired lawn mowers. We had a vision and made it a really classy place for other creators to sell their art, and we did it all ourselves. We're still ironing out some wrinkles but I think it's going to be pretty amazing."

🎨 How did you start creating?
"I am an ICU nurse and worked doing open heart recovery for the last 20 years. After the pandemic, I wasn't able to work overtime anymore. I always worked a lot of overtime so I needed to supplement my income. I started flipping thrift store finds, that evolved into flipping furniture, and that led into furniture artistry. I had shown a friend of mine what I was up to, I had just found Brushed by Brandy and Crys'Dawna Cusson and she showed me Dionne Woods pieces and I was in love with the whole process of furniture artistry. I was always creative but never considered myself an artist per se. So I got a small table, painted it creatively, and I tripled my profit margin on it...I was thrilled!!! I found something I could supplement my income with that was also very cathartic and therapeutic for me and I haven't looked back"

This sweet little trinket box sold today at RMB's Arts and Antiques!

This lovely lady is headed to Staten Island NY! She was painted using decoupage from The Painting Lady Inc and Eye Love Hue Paint😍I really enjoyed working on this piece!!!

We've gotten so much accomplished over the last 6 weeks and we couldn't have done it without our best friend Jen from Re-JEN-erate Furniture Restoration .

Jen and I became friends through Tiktok! 🥰 She came to Florida from Souix Falla South Dakota for a month to help us get our building refinished and ready to open and we can't thank her enough for all her help!!

We're nearly ready to open Phase 1 and we're so grateful to everyone that has jumped in and helped us work toward our goal❤️❤️

Moving along!! Thanks to a couple of friends, we were able to get one of the prep steps finished in ONE DAY for the roof!!

We bought a building!!! This will be the future site of RMB's Arts and Antiques, home to Robert and Mollybee's Furniture Artistry!

Of course, there's a long story of how we got here, and maybe someday we'll get into that, but for now, we're just excited for what's to come!!! We have a lot of work to do so LET'S GO!!!

A lovely lady from Austin Texas called me about 3 weeks ago asking about my process to get her a vanity painted. She had seen my work and wanted me to paint something for her. Together we came up with this design and I was able to find something she wanted in our area to refinish for her. I was able to locate the vanity, but it didn't have a mirror. We were able to improvise and find something to paint that would match and here's how it turned out!
