Just finished up this project, customer had a shower valve go bad, had someone else do the initial tearout and rough plumbing, brought me in to turn it into an accent wall. Turned out nice.
Finished up this outdoor kitchen countertop, originally was going to be just concrete, but it got rained on before it dried and screwed up the finish, so we went with travertine with cedar edging. Turned out nice.
Finished up this vanity installation this afternoon, made a new staron top, with vessel sinks and faucets. Customers are going to put up a marble backsplash.
Commissioned by Brian and Lisa, for Shannon and Montye.
Had to wait a while to post pictures of this until the recipients got it, but custom hardwood cutting board, detailing done with a wood burner. Big, brisket sized, about 1-1/2" thick.

Weather decided to get a little crazy this afternoon.
Haven't been doing a lot of photo worthy projects lately, but wrapped up this one, took out a fir down above the cabinets, all new doors, crown, pulled out an old wall oven for a microwave space, new range and range hood, over peninsula beam wrap with new lighting.
Almost done with this project, got the stone grouted today, just final finish on the base after it dries.
Think that it weighs over 200 pounds now, after grout and the top, probably 250. I think Coke Phillips Corbo and I will be able to get it in the truck next week to deliver.
This piece is coming together, epoxy on the top yesterday, and rock inlay this afternoon.
Wrapped up this bathroom remodel today, we did the new floors, new vanities with staron tops, set the new tub, shower floor tile vanity lights, up lights and ceiling fan, new trim and paint throughout. Shower and tub surrounds by Bolfing Brothers.
Finished up this glass tile backsplash today, turned out nice with the granite countertops by Bolfing Brothers
Wrapped up this kitchen project today, another that we cut down the raised bar/server, quartz countertops by Bolfing Brothers, we did the backsplash, plumbing, relocated some outlets, and a complete repaint of the cabinetry after adding bigger crown on the uppers. Definitely makes it bigger and brighter.
Got our portion of this bathroom wrapped up, our wonderful customer and her crew are going to finish up the wall treatment.
This one had its challenges. After demo, we had to raise the floor back up about two inches, and the walls were out of square quite a bit, so a bunch of creative drywall work.
But, new whirlpool bath tub, tile surround and floor, new upper cabinets, (think I forgot to take a picture of those) new cabinet doors and I made some custom baseboards.
While that was going on, we made new doors for the hallway and laundry room cabinets, as well as some crown in the laundry room that she had put up wallpaper on the ceiling.
Coke and I Finished this one up today except for setting the toilet, as the customers are having some cool wallpaper put up next week, 10 foot ceilings, 33 rows up, about 12 tiles per row, and the cool hexagon floor. Marble vanity top by Bolfing Brothers. Turned out nice 👌
There is a reason for this picture. When it is warm, I pretty much wear the flip flops, as you can see, it has been warm for the last couple months. I have my steel toe boots and shoes, a pair always in the truck for when they are needed. If I walk into your home and see a line of shoes, mine come off, and if I need my big shoes, floor will be covered. And, yeah, it finally happened after 12 years, got distracted after cutting a piece outside, and kicked a brick step. Sucks, hurts, but respect for my customers is top priority.
A little touchup left, but basically done with this kitchen project. We took down the existing bartop, moved switches and outlets into the cabinets and column, reconfigured the cabinet and doors for the huge apron sink and faucet, moved all the other outlets to under the upper cabinets, made a custom drawer for the garbage can, and installed the new backsplash.
3cm absolute black leathered finish granite countertops by Bolfing Brothers. Super pretty.
This table finally back in its home again. Countless hours sanding off the eighth inch plus layers of epoxy to get to the actual wood, restained the teak, and just clear on the burlwood and bamboo inlay, made new latches for the flip top and beefed up the rotating hardware. The customers said that it looks better than when they bought it 20 or so years ago when they were living in Thailand.
I took on this refinishing project, a cool table with a flip top for a customer that I have done some cabinetry and other work for. Teak with a burlwood inlay. 20 or so years ago when they purchased it, they were told it had a beeswax finish. Actually, it had about an eighth inch layer of epoxy. I stopped counting after 20 hours of sanding and $100 of sandpaper. Finally have all of the teak restained, had to do around the burlwood and bamboo inlay with an artist brush. Still have to oil the burlwood and bamboo after that dries, and then lots of poly to finish. Getting there.
When I do a kitchen project, always try and make the customers a cutting board out of one of the cutouts, this one, the back side of the staron was really cool looking, so made it with the underside exposed, turned out really cool, took it to the customers, and they loved it.
I will be putting together a larger gallery of pictures that show the progression of this project, but after several hundred feet of all custom made trim, calling it finished, took a video to show the size of the new kitchen.
My customers sent me some before pictures, and if you look, the only thing that remains in the same place is the sink.
There will be an upcoming post that has before pictures that the customers are going to send me, but imagine a kitchen closed off to the living and dining rooms. Now, all kitchen, I built all new custom cabinets and island to fit the space, fabricated staron countertops and windowsills, wrapped the support columns, lots of paint and trim, not 100% done, but pretty close.
About 95% complete on this bathroom vanity project, some trim pieces left to do. But, about 9 feet long, 36 inch height with a huge medicine cabinet. All solid poplar doors, drawers and face frames, Staron top, cool undermount sinks and lighting. Custom stain by Laurie Lopez. Looking pretty cool.
Work in progress. Huge kitchen expansion, milestone number one, new stove top, sink, dishwasher and double ovens installed, so everything is functional. Lots more cabinets and an island to build.
