This was a line breeding on Proctor Hill Farm BO Tekillya and these kids should be absolutely amazing! Fingers crossed for some girls! 🎀🎀🎀🎀🎀🎀🎀🎀🎀🎀!

Yep it’s been 8 years since we have had such a wet Spring. It looks like it’s about to dry up Thank Goodness! I still think the meme is apropos! It’s a favorite way I think about adverse events in my life. Hope it helps someone else! 🤗💝

I have some helpers working on the Sweet Gum limb that came down in these storms affecting our area. I’m Happy to see everyone is back in business milk wise after our Two Day Show last weekend. Now if these girls could just Move this branch it’s blocking my alleyway! 😆🤔😅

I brought these boys home from Mississippi this past weekend!! Both have Elite Sires - along with finished Champions and high LA/ AGS Scores on both sides of the pedigree on the Dam side I am excited to get more babies from both!! 🤩😍🤩😍🤩

Last but not least- Aries KQ Pretty as you Please ended up being milked out and didn’t fill well enough to compete on day two. Next time I would not enter for two days because it messed up even a chance to go Best In Show. This is only my third two day show and I sure learned a lot about udder management. I guess the old saying is true.

Creekwood Acres Mini Me also picked up a Reserve Championship - after taking the advice of a judge and not letting her udder up as much she was much more comfortable in the ring. Live and learn that’s for sure! ( She is not my doe )

We had a great weekend at the LDGA Cajun Classic. I am so excited to announce that I am bringing home a new Finished Champion with Aries KQ Pretty As You Please 5*M under judge Grace Toy !! This doe has the best rump - hands down - I have ever seen on a nigerian and I am so proud to have bred and own her. 😍🥰😍🥰😍

If I organized a Classification Session with AGS how many would want to sign up for a spot? I am gauging interest since Linear isn’t until September this year and I will not be keeping my does in milk after Mid Summer. I Loved our Classification Session a couple years back and feel it is very beneficial to have each system of scoring available for my records and knowledge!

The Best thing about the Houston Livestock Show is how close it is to Home Sweet Home! We are home safe and sound with all goats put up and cared for for the night!
