We are looking for a Field Support Technician to assist our clients with documenting and solving technical problems. Field Support Technician responsibilities include: communicating with clients on-site and remotely about reported issues, keeping client satisfaction high by clarifying and proactively solving technical problems, and assisting the team with completing projects and support tickets and in a timely and organized manner. To be successful in this role, you should have a technical background, strong communication skills, the ability to establish a positive rapport with clients, and a consistent focus on the details.

Responsibilities
• Go on-site for client visits to complete tickets, implement solutions devised by the support team, and provide training to end-users.
• Identify client issues and potential problems during site visits, creating tickets to ensure issues are solved.
• Deliver new hardware to users, transitioning users seamlessly from old to new systems.
• Assist consultants with on-site projects as needed.
• Answer incoming calls, creating tickets as required.
• Answer incoming tickets/emails, clearly documenting all progress in ticket notes.
• Communicate the status of issues regularly, clearly, and efficiently to clients.
• Request hardware quotes from other team members as needed, building quotes for items used from inventory.
• Communicate the status of incoming orders to the receiving team and clients.
• Assist in documenting and improving existing troubleshooting processes.
• Additional tasks as required.

Requirements
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to explain technical issues clearly to our clients.
• Independent problem-solving skills using available resources.
• Flexibility to adapt to in-the-moment changes and needs of clients with a positive attitude.
• Proven work experience in a technical role.
• Strong knowledge of network troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, LAN/WAN, and switches.
• Strong knowledge of technology troubleshooting to include computer hardware repairs, upgrades, mobile devices, phone systems, printers, scanners, and copiers.
• Ability to use, quickly learn, and troubleshoot basic and intermediate computer software including PC and Mac, Microsoft Office Suite, and various web-based apps.
• Strong time-management and the ability to remain organized while prioritizing many ongoing tickets.
Reliable data entry skills with the ability to identify errors.
• Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced environment and changing day-to-day requirements.
