The Northeast Regional AYP Conference

Dear YPN Member,
For the past month, YMCA of the USA (Y-USA) has been closely monitoring the continuing developments with COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Yesterday, the Executive Team at Y-USA released the decision to implement policies to reduce the risk to all Y staff and their families. Regardless of the concern level, it is our social responsibility to help protect vulnerable populations and keep communities strong.
Effectively immediately, these policies include restricting business travel and canceling all Y-USA hosted in-person events through April 30. Therefore, it is with a heavy heart that we have to inform you that our upcoming in person YPN Chapter Events will be cancelled.
At this time, we are focused on managing all of the implications of this decision.
For your convenience, we will cancel your registration on your behalf and will initiate the refund for your registration fee within approximately two (2) business days. While it varies depending on your bank, refunds generally take 2 - 7 days to process. Please look for an email from with your refund confirmation.
If you have already booked travel, the major airlines have announced waivers on change fees during this period (see more information from American, United, Delta and Southwest).
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and your staff. We are working hard to identify additional future opportunities and hope to see you at a YPN event in the future. Please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.

The YPN Northeast Regional Conference committee is dedicated to serve all YPN members that are interested in attending. All attempts will be made to process financial assistance to as many YPN members as possible. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide assistance for hotel accommodations.

This year's conference, being held on April 22nd-24th, will be held at the Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place Hotel in Springfield, MA. We are so excited for this new location to bring us together! There are 43 days to book your hotel room, and 65 days until the 2020 conference!
