We’ll feature vendors from across the region for a market celebration, and then we'll adjourn to Vantage Rooftop Lounge & Conservatory for a VIP bourbon-tasting experience. The event will feature a DJ, Holladay cocktails, Mother's beer, and a food spread compliments of Holladay. Come for exclusive whiskey pours, and stay for the best view of downtown's Christmas parade! Made at the legendary La Alteña distillery, El Tosoro is known as "the Treasure of Jalisco”, crafted in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico for generations. El Tesoro Tequila is all about authenticity, using only 100% estate-grown blue agave meticulously harvested and roasted by hand on their own agave fields. The master distiller, Carlos Camarena, and his family ensure that every aspect of the process is guided by a commitment to preserving the heritage of tequila production. The result is a tequila distilled in small copper pot stills, delivering a drink with exceptional depth of character and flavor.

Kofolk Intra! The Wild Rosé 2022

Stefan Wellanschitz’s vineyards are in the Sopron Mountains on the Hungarian border in Austria. They lie over one thousand feet above sea level, one the highest vineyards in all of Burgenland. The initial goal of Kolfok was to revive the white wines Neckenmarkt, a zone known mostly for red wine. It was in 2021 Stefan decided to make rosé out of an organically farmed vineyard of Blaufränkisch. It’s now 2023 and he’s still at it and thank Dionysus he is.

His 2022 vintage of the Intra! The Wild Rosé is a savory wine that will hang with a cheese plate, a picnic, or a cozy holiday meal; it's that diverse. The nose is somewhat muted with some peppery notes. It’s on the palate that the wine comes alive with an incredible punch of flavor. Brambly, savory fruit welcomes the palate with a great balance of depth and good natural acidity. This is not a shy variety on the red spectrum and Stefan found that balance on the pink spectrum.

ENVINATE, "LOUSAS" VINAS DE ALDEA 2021

Who doesn't love a little off menu treat for this week's edition of Winesday? While not officially debuted on the list, this special bottle is too cool to not share!

Envínate (Wine Yourself) has turned into a unicorn winery, producing wines people talk and read about but never can find or buy. The gang of four friends behind these bottles met while studying enology in Alicante, Spain. After graduating, they formed a wine consulting business to find lost, old vineyards and indigenous grapes and start producing wines from these sites and grapes. The aim has been no chemicals, handwork, and indigenous yeast only. The end product has been incredible, and the sommelier world has latched on. Now the wines are in high demand but very little is produced.

Viñas de Aldea means “village wine,” differentiating this wine from Envinate’s single vineyard bottlings. The bottle is also named for the slate soil “Lousa” prevalent in Ribeira Sacra. The wine is made with whole cluster fermentation and aged in French oak barrels for eleven months. This Mencia is fresh and elegant oozing with peppery notes. Tasting this wine is like taking a journey through flavor: expect a symphony of red berries, hints of violet, and a graceful minerality that mirrors the very slate it's grown upon.
