I was just going to get a little snack but during my 8 minute walk (600 meters) from my hotel to the Shakey’s restaurant I saw a lot of children (5?) with a few women sleeping on the sidewalk. 303 Front Street is a commercial building that has also been used as a residence. Superb downtown location on Front Street (aka First Street) in Thayer Missouri. There are many events such as parades and the Fall Festival and concerts that happen right here and within a couple of blocks or so. There are only about 5 open spots remaining for the swim party this Saturday from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Alton City Pool. If you’re going you need to RSVP by texting me your name and the names of those in your group attending. Text me at 417-383-5300.

They only allow 50 in the pool so we are almost booked full for this party and the host needs to be able to confirm with guests any changes. I also rented the pavilion from 5-9 pm and there is a bbq grill there with picnic tables. It’s going to be a pot luck type of party so please bring something if you’d like. They will also have some things available for sale at the pool’s concession stands.
