The Naylor Nutrition Center is progressing well with the exterior shell and framing starting to go up!!

After a year of construction we are dried in at the Logan-Rogersville Primary School FEMA Addition.

Sorry I didn't post this sooner - a fantastic time was had by all at the 2023 JBAPC Christmas party at Metropolitan Grill. The tradition of huge steaks, being over-served, and everyone getting a safe ride home was continued!

Jackie (Jack) Dean Ball AIA, 89, died in his home in Rogersville, MO on November 22nd, 2023. He was born in Anderson, MO on January 21, 1934, to Charles William Ball and Maude E. (Anderson) Ball who preceded him in death. Jack was the youngest sibling of seven, with Twyla, Max, Mary, Steve, Karl and Shirley, all preceding him in death. He graduated Pittsburg High School and joined the U.S. Marine Corp, and then married Sharon Marie (McAdams) Ball on April 15, 1958 (who preceded him in death in 2004). He attended college at Pittsburg State University and in 1961 they moved to Springfield, MO. Jack worked for Joe Amspacher, and then in a partnership Ball – Engle, until starting his own architecture firm Jack Ball & Associates in 1974, where he worked until his retirement in 1999.
He loved to fly planes, woodwork, fish & hunt, play golf, boat, travel in his RV, bake bread, and for the last 5 years he was into mowing the lawn. Survivors include his daughter Jennifer Marie Ball of Greenwood, MO; son J. Christopher Ball AIA and his wife Susan E. Ball of Rogersville, MO; grandchildren Elle Marie Ball and Lindsey Ellen Ball of Rogersville, MO; great-granddaughter Charlotte Marie Ball-Riegle of Rogersville, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
A military funeral will be held at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood, Road, Springfield, MO at 11 am December 13th, with a celebration of life immediately following at Metropolitan Grill, 2931 E. Battlefield, Rd, Springfield, MO.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Semper Fi Fund at www.thefund.org/donate or K9s for Warriors at www.donate.k9sforwarriors.org.

What a great project to work on with the Logan-Rogersville Schools Admin and Coaches! Everyone involved poured their heart and soul into the athletic field renovations at both fields. This recognition comes from all the HS baseball coaches at all class levels...that's really special!

Founded in 1972, Emery Sapp & Sons is one of the Midwest’s leading infrastructure contractors. And when they needed a new office for their Joplin location, they called Branco! Working alongside Ball Architects, our team is building a new 4,000 square-foot facility that will contain office space and a lab for the Emery Sapp & Sons team.

Have you ever wondered what is LREF, and what do they do? Allow us to take a second to tell you!

Our Mission is to promote educational excellence in the Logan-Rogersville School System and community by generating financial resources from private funds to provide support for students, faculty and organizations.

Money donated to the LREF will be used as unrestricted funds to assist in covering operation expenses. As the opportunity arises, the board will transfer funds from its operating account to the endowment fund.

Endowment funds are permanently invested with the interest income from these funds used each year to enhance the curriculum of your students, purchase supplies and equipment for the Logan-Rogersville R-VIII School District, establish scholarships for both students and teachers, and supplement student fund-raising activities for trips, competitions, etc.

Some of the many things that LREF have funded include:
-Occupational Therapy classroom equipment
-S.T.E.A.M. lab additional portable chairs
-Video Camera, Green Screen, & Laptop
-3 Little Free Libraries, Staffing, Mileage, Materials
-Picnic Tables
-Sewing Machines, Cricuit, Accessories
-Scholastic Books
-ELL Reading Materials

And much, much more.

Thanks to generous donations, LREF is able to provide items that help our student thrive in the educational environment that they might not otherwise be able to receive.

The new Wildcat Stadium Football/Track/Soccer Complex and New Wildcat Baseball Stadium are nearing completion! Finish grading and seeding outside the turf areas as well as support buildings are wrapping up. I even saw the new video screen operating last evening during the soccer match! If you haven't been by its worth a look... District Baseball starts this weekend and new seats for Football and Baseball next week/

What an amazing project to be a part of!

It's time to play ball on the new turf field! Weather permitting, the Wildcats will take the field at 1 PM today and 9 AM & 11 AM tomorrow! Facility renovations are still underway, so please abide by signage and fencing. Thank you, LR community, for making this possible for our student athletes! We have so much to be proud of at LR!

This project is really moving! Cant wait to see the finished product.
