Tax day is July 15th this year .... which means you have to have your tax return completed or its late...

You can also file an extension by July 15th to file your taxes after July 15th but that is only to submit the return, not an extension to pay.

Missouri Revenue has extended the Missouri tax filing deadline to July 15 and expiring drivers licenses and vehicle registrations have been granted extensions.

Did you know that if you complete a form 4868 you can file for an automatic extension to file your taxes all the way up until October 15th? You still need to make sure you have paid in enough money to cover any taxes due for 2009 but you can gather paperwork and other needed documents and properly prepare your return at a later date.
