We’ve been REALLY enjoying having these guys on the desk the past few weeks. The 3-slot 500 series chassis is great for producers and engineers on the go. We plan on installing a 500V in our mini-console soon. What’s your favorite 500 series module?..

A FOLLOW-UP STATEMENT REGARDING COVID-19 AND OPERATIONS OF North Village Recording and The Mixing Boutique:

With St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and now the City of Columbia announcing stay-at-home orders, I am sad to announce that North Village Recording and The Mixing Boutique will be suspending services involving clients in our buildings until safer assessments can be made regarding these services.

This includes any in-person songwriting, production, recording, or rehearsal sessions. We will only be allowing our engineers and producers access to the rooms for post production, editing, mixing and mastering, and we will be limiting that to 1 person in the building at a time.

As I stated before, we are encouraging clients who have recorded material ready for post-production, editing, mixing, mastering, etc... please utilize the coming weeks to book these services since they don't require our clients physically coming to the studios. We will still be doing everything possible to keep communication open and to keep ourselves and our clients projects moving forward, but we need to take the stay-at-home orders VERY seriously. I won't operate the businesses in a manner that exposes ourselves or others to illness, and it is absolutely all of our responsibilities to not engage in activity that helps the virus spread.

It's imperative that we all do our part here. We WILL get through this together.

A STATEMENT REGARDING COVID-19 AND OPERATIONS OF North Village Recording and The Mixing Boutique:

As we continue to monitor the spread of COVID-19 across the United States, it is vitally important to adhere to CDC safety advisement. Therefore effective immediately, North Village Recording and The Mixing Boutique will not be servicing sessions with groups larger than 8 people. Our maximum occupancy at both studios will remain at 10 (including all staff in-building) until the CDC advises otherwise.

While sanitary standards at both studios are always maintained at a high level, we have been increasing our efforts to sanitize all surfaces and any items that clients and staff do or may come into contact with (including headphones, pop-filters, microphones, etc). If the guidelines change or if a lock-down occurs and the studios go dark, there will be formal announcements.

That being stated, we are encouraging clients who have recorded material ready for post-production, editing, mixing, mastering, etc, to utilize the coming weeks to book these services as they don't require clients physically coming to the studios. We will be doing everything possible to keep communication open and to keep ourselves and our clients working during this time of uncertainty, but only in the safest and mindful manner possible.
