I’ve been making records for 25 years, a music technology educator for 18 years, running live sound and a production manager for the last 6 years, and a singer/songwriter since I can remember. We've embraced Dolby Atmos at Midtown Sound House. This is our first release, The Kara Baldus-Mehrmann Quartet. It was recorded live on the evening of August 29th. Thanks to Mark Gustafson for coming over for the week to get us all setup and for the on-going tech support :) Overall, I'm super excited about this new immersive mixing platform. We are super excited for the release of this ep! We had a blast recording it. There were so many people involved and happy that it is now available for you all to hear!
