I'm off to work for my first day of my new job as a Human Resources Advisor! I wouldn't be in this position if I didn't have the adventure that was Abigail's, so thank you all again for making this possible. ❤️🥰

This is where it all started, 10 years ago today (9/20/14)
Our original storefront was in Dutchtown, in an old mixed use building that Amy and I lived above. Our first location was 1,000 sq ft, and we were in that location for nearly 5 years. In July 2019, we doubled in size when we opened our doors on South Grand.

There is so much I'd like to say and share with you, but it all comes down to this; WE COULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT YOU!! And when we say YOU, we mean customers, artists, makers, brands, sales reps, our landlords, current and previous staff.

Amy and I are so incredibly appreciative of the immense amount of support we've received over these last 10 years. This business has been one of the most rewarding things, and we're honored to still be going strong.

It is that time of year again! Run for the Hills is gearing up for the 33rd Annual Run Event and we are seeking volunteers! This is a wonderful event to show off our neighborhood for runners, walkers, and supporters and a way to give back to Francis Park at the same time! �

This is a bittersweet note for me to write… The last 10 years have been filled with so many emotions, both high and low, but as I move forward into the next phase of my life, I will remember all of the relationships I have made and the joy that our little store brought to the neighborhood. I want to start by thanking everyone that made Abigail’s possible; my parents who encouraged me to chase my dream, my husband who was there lifting me up (especially during the hardest days), my friends for keeping me sane and grounded, my amazing staff who put up with me every day, and of course our customers that allowed us 10 great years. ❤️ The outpouring of love from the community the past few weeks has reassured me that we made a difference in this community and that was one of my biggest goals going into this adventure. I am sad that this is the end of this chapter for Abigail’s but I am also looking forward to what the future may bring. I have accepted a position at a locally based company that I will start in the next few weeks and I am so excited because it will be a great fit for me and my family (stay tuned for my “back to school” pic). I also plan to re-launch our website in the next few weeks. We will have all of your favorite STL gifts that we designed and made in store as well as a collection each holiday season of apparel and gifts designed by me. ⚜️Please come say hi if you see as at any events in the neighborhood, we would love to see your smiling faces.

Once again, thank you so much for the last 10 years, I will cherish all of the memories and relationships for the rest of my life!
