His supervisor and Froebel staff surprised him with a lunch celebration after he returned from a principal's meeting at the district office. Congratulations, Mr. Triplett, and "Thank you" for the work you've done over the last four years to support the staff, students, and families of Froebel Literacy Academy!
Today, our KG-5th grade students enjoyed the school-wide field trip to see Metro Theater’s production of the musical, “Spells of the Sea!” It was the first time many of our students have been to a theater to see a play. Not only did they enjoy watching the performance, but they were able to ask the cast questions afterwards. “Thank you” to The Believe Projects for sponsoring this experience for our students!
We're proud supporters of St. Louis Public Schools Foundation and the Green Schoolyard Project at Froebel Literacy Academy 📚 This project will include constructing a new, sustainable, green infrastructure playground with stormwater treatment features (rain gardens, permeable pavements, and bioswales), native plantings, and a walking track with informative signage about nature!

Froebel Literacy Academy, became the first school in the Saint Louis Public School District to become the home of one the St. Louis Black Authors of Children's Literature "Believe Project Literacy Lab," also known as "Believe 8!"
We are honored that the organization's president, Mr. Julius Anthony, agreed that my school would be chosen and that our superintendent, Dr. Kelvin Adams, was on board as well!
This space will help ensure that our students become confident and competent readers by the end of third grade.
