It's JULY! USO Missouri starts planning each year for our Holiday Block Leave event in January? A year of planning. It is one of our largest programs and we enjoy sending service members home in the holiday spirit.

USO Canine Maverick is enjoying his Summer, but is looking forward to getting back to Thayer Elementary next month!

- Our Ft. Leonard Wood USO has a game room? We are open Monday-Wednesday 9:00AM-3:00PM and Thursday- Sunday 8:30AM-4:00PM.

Every 4th of July, the Fort Leonard Wood USO center partners with the Survivor Outreach Program to host the Families of the Fallen Dinner. This year, in addition to dinner, which Vidie’s Catering donated, we also facilitated a unique craft. Children enjoyed painting rocks which will be placed along the hall of honor at the SOS.

?- Our Kansas City International Airport USO center is on the lower level baggage claim area behind carousel #5. We are open daily from 9:00 am-6:00 pm.

Our USO Volunteers had a great time supporting the 354th Military Police at Scott Air Force Base. It is safe to say everyone left with a box of delicious Girl Scout Cookies.

We had an awesome Family Game Night in Ft. Leonard Wood. Families enjoyed spending time together as they played a few classic games.

Congratulations to Marcos for being our Volunteer of the Month!!
Marcos is a highly motivated volunteer with a big smile and a warm heart. You will often find him most days volunteering at our USO center even if it is over his lunch break. He has chosen to volunteer to help improve the lives of his fellow soldiers and make them feel like they have a family no matter how far the distance is to their home state. Marcos has true pride in the difference he is making in our community, and it shows throughout all of his actions as a volunteer.

? - We support the Military Entrance Processing Stations, also known as MEPS, in both St. Louis and Kansas City. - These service members had a great time joining in our USO Craft Night earlier this month.

Our USO Team was honored to able to attend the change- of-command ceremony on June 25th.

U.S. Army Garrison held a change-of-command ceremony June 25 on the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence Plaza, where Col. Anthony Pollio relinquished command to Col. Steven Bartley. It was a great day for a game of Monopoly at our, St. Louis Lambert International Airport USO!

USO Ft. Leonard Wood hosted a Brightening Our Community event. These young adults came together to paint gift bags for the Dinner for the Fallen. These bags will be filled with goodies and handed out to children at the event on July, 4th. It was awesome to see how much they enjoyed creating the bags.

Happy 85th birthday to the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary! Thank you to these dedicated volunteers for protecting our nation's waterways, supporting our communities and much more.
