How intimate do you really get with your pole. Do you really leave your pole sticky? This workshop is understanding your connection with each body part with your pole. Taking the time to feeling uncomfortable to make comfortable. Keep in mind this workshop is not what you may think and please keep an open mind. While most skills will be beginner friendly, the experienced student can expect to learn a few classic pole tricks as well, such as the kneehold and the Teddy.
Wear as few clothes as possible: you’ll need your skin for this workshop. Kneepads and heels are recommended.

Making Friends with your Performing Anxiety with Charlie aka Steele Starling

This 120 minute workshop will help you connect to and understand the part of you that is terrified of performing- both for those that are performing and those that haven’t gotten up the nerve yet.

It will include a little education on how to work with the nervous system as well as hands-on exploration of performing anxiety, and a little technique to fake it until you make it.

This class is ideal for level 1.5+, or other dance/movement experience!

Steele is LCSW in private practice, specializing in anxiety and trauma, primarily working with complex trauma and LGBTQIA+ people. Steele primarily does Internal Family Systems, which helps people connect with, value and work with the parts of themselves they find difficult. Steele has performed all over the country for over 10 years. He has also introduced people to like for over 10 years.

The Mynx family would like to send so much love and so many hugs to our Rebelle Fitness family on this bittersweet day of their last in person classes and their final Pole Jam.
They opened in a small, Missouri town 2.5 months before the global pandemic hit and they fought successfully to get through that and many other obstacles over the last nearly 5 years. ✨💪✨
The space may be closing, but the community of friends and support amd care will live on forever. The mark Karen Downey and Bailey Elizabeth have made on the hearts and bodies of their students is here to stay.
