We might not build idols or golden calves but we can all have idols. When we want praise for someone else besides God, or when we worship something or put something in our focus other than God, we have idols. We are all guilty of this at times! But being aware of it is how we can make changes. Whether its social media, music, celebrities, video games, beauty and fashion, etc. we can all have idols in our life. God should have our time, attention, and worship above all else that tries to crowd in.

Today we learned that we can worship God all the time! - When we are tired, busy, angry, sad, or grumpy, it can feel really hard to worship Jesus. Sometimes when we come into church, we can feel these ways and we might decide not to participate in worship. Or maybe, you only worship on Sundays instead of making it an everyday thing! There are ways that we can worship God every single day, not just when we feel like it and it’s easy.
