It’s been a minute since I posted, but our learning game is still strong!

It’s always a great day when a student finishes a set of books and gets to move on to the next level! And yes, that is a Christmas book on the piano….we’ve started working on music for our Christmas recital 🎹 🎶

Continuing to learn new things through September! We use games in almost every lesson to reinforce note-reading, rhythm, ear-training, composing, and sight reading 🎹🎶

While the piano can and should be a solo instrument, pianists can also fulfill the role of accompanist—for singers and other instruments. Below is a picture of one of my students playing keyboard for the worship band at church. It’s so exciting when students are able to share their skills and gifts with others!
