Market Update:
Schools are back in session, and we are officially halfway through the Third Quarter. Looking back over the last 15 days we are continuing to see a shift in the market.

Indications such as growth in expireds and price changes, as well as the evolution of accepted offers, point toward a market that once heavily favored sellers beginning to take a more balanced stance.
This, coupled with the recent pause in steadily climbing interest rates, might spark new hope in potential buyer that initially thought they’d missed the boat.

A shifting market isn’t cause for scare when it comes to the selling side, though. A steady demand and limited inventory continue to drive the market, however, with the shift, expectations of the market of yesteryear will need to be reassessed much like the tactics used on both sides of the transaction.

It is still a great time to buy or sale! I’m closing on my new home next month. Regardless of the state of the market, the one factor that matters most is who you work with. Finding an agent with the chops to pilot the ongoing shift will be crucial in the process.
