Meet our summer intern, Alli Milligan!

Alli’s hometown is Fairview, OK. She will be Majoring in English Education, and hopes to teach High School English! Alli is a transfer student from SWOSU who will begin at OSU this fall!

We are so excited to have her here at the Wesley as an intern!

We want to publicly thank the United Methodist women from Enid New Home UMC and Enid First UMC for making the beautiful stoles for our grads! This is the kind of love and connection we LOVE seeing between local churches and our campus ministry. Thank you for loving our students in this tangible way!

We’re so proud of our intern grads!! Last year we started the tradition of giving our senior interns stoles,made by local churches. This year our stoles were made by women from and 🧡

That’s a wrap on the 2023-2024 year! We could NOT have done it without our incredible team of interns. This year was amazing thanks to this amazing team! We laughed and cried and worshiped and served and prayed and played and relaxed and worked and loved so much this year. We are so proud of this team and all of the ways they made the Kingdom of God tangible this year. Good luck on all of your finals, pals!

When we find ourselves in the middle of stress and chaos (hello finals week!) sometimes it feels hard to take time to tend to our soul. But our life with God doesn’t have to be complicated! Sometimes simply pausing long enough to take 3 deep breaths can give us the re-centering and grounding we need to finish the work that is before us. Here are some breath prayers we love for finals week that help gather our scattered senses upon God and give our spirits a moment to remember what is true in the midst of a lot of hard.

We encourage you to take a moment each day to practice these breath prayers. Maybe just pick one for each day. You can use it during a study break, while you’re walking to a final, or anytime!

Meet OSU Wesley Grad, Benny!

Benny’s home country is India! He will be graduating from OSU this May with his degree in Industrial Engineering and Management.

Benny has been involved in a number of ways during his time at The Wesley: Wednesday night dinners and worship, small groups, and intramural soccer & volleyball! Some of his favorite memories include the time spent in worship and seeing his teammates at games.

When reflecting on how his faith has grown during his time at OSU he shared about the impact of meeting many new, kind people and learning through new relationships and time spent in community.

After graduating Benny will be start his new job working for Amazon!

Benny, we are so proud of who you are and it is such a joy to celebrate all of your accomplishments with you!🎉🧡

Meet OSU Wesley Grad, Haley!

Haley’s hometown is Sand Springs, OK. She is graduating this May with her degree in Nutritional Science.

Haley has been involved with the Wesley throughout her time at OSU and you will often see her on Wednesday nights for dinner and worship. One of Haley’s favorite memories during her time at the Wesley has been the Wesley Women’s Conference!

When reflecting on the ways her faith has grown while at OSU she shared, “My faith has grown so much thanks to the friends I have made at the Wesley. Having Godly friends is such an amazing thing to have in college.”

After graduation Haley will be continuing her educational goals by pursuing a Masters of Public Health at OSU Tulsa!

Haley, we are so proud of who you are and it is such a joy for us to celebrate all of your accomplishments with you!! 🎉🧡

Meet OSU Wesley Grad, Jackson!

Jackson’s hometown is Flower Mound, TX. He will be graduating this May with a degree in Management Information Systems.

Jackson has been involved at The Wesley, regularly participating in Wednesday night dinner and worship. Some of his favorite memories at The Wesley include making new friends and beating .sheaff at ping pong.

When reflecting on how his faith has grown during his time here he shared, “It used to be a ‘holiday only’ thing for a while due to the busy nature of me and my family’s life. Going to the Wesley has opened my mind the fact that it’s part of every day life and doesn’t have to be for exclusive events in attendance at services.”

Following graduation Jackson will remain in Stillwater to finish his final year of graduate school with hopes of then relocating to Dallas.

Jackson, it’s such a joy to celebrate this wonderful milestone with you! We’re so proud of you! 🎉

What: “In Every Season” 2024 Wesley Women’s Conference!

This year we will explore what it means to grow in our faith and life with God through the different “seasons” of our lives. We will have inspiring worship and a variety of meaningful (and practical!) breakout sessions for you to choose from to explore your faith in ways that feel most relevant to you! These sessions are designed to help you fill your spiritual tool box with practices to nurture your faith life. Our breakout sessions will include practices such as: Lectio Divina, Creativity as a Spiritual Practice, Poetry/Writing as Spiritual Practice, Grief Practices, Prayer Practices, and more!

In Every Season - Wesley Women's Conference 2024

“There's a season for everything and a time for every matter under the heavens.” (Ecc. 3:1)

Where: OSU Wesley Foundation
What: Join us as we gather together for a nourishing and Spirit filled weekend with other young adult women from across the state (and beyond!) to explore what it means to grow in our faith and life with God through the different seasons of our lives. This year we will have a variety of breakout sessions for you to choose from to explore your faith in ways that feel most relevant to you! These sessions are designed to help you fill your spiritual tool box with practices to nurture your faith life in different seasons.

Our breakout sessions will include practices that help us explore: engaging scripture in meaningful ways, creativity as a spiritual practice, writing and poetry, grief practices, meditation/prayer practices, and more!

You can expect a relaxed pace, beautiful worship, powerful preaching, inspiring breakout sessions, opportunities to connect with other young women in similar life stages, good food, lots of laughter, and a safe space where you are free to be exactly who you are!
