We’re very proud to be one of a select handful of stores in North America able to offer professionally tanned reindeer hides. Our hides are imported directly from Lapland, a region of northern Scandinavia which includes Sweden, Norway, and Finland. These reindeer hides are sustainably harvested from north of the arctic circle. In this region, reindeer are abundant and provide an important source of income for the Sami, the indigenous people of Lapland. These animals are harvested not only for its skin, but for food, clothing, tools and accessories.

We’re thrilled to introduce a new brand to our store: Hetkinen! “Hetkinen is a Finnish lifestyle company that creates small design items and cosmetics from the pine wood.” Founded in 2018, the company derives inspiration from Finland’s forests and trees. Their design approach is purposeful and minimal. All Hetkinen products are manufactured in Finland at the company’s own factories.
