One of the children who has been supported in Haiti by Ginette and the organization, 2-year-old Hannah, stopped breathing and died late last week. Ginette is in Atlanta while the children were under the care of several trusted house parents.

Hurricane Matthew Leaves Hundreds Dead In Haiti; Homes And Crops Are Devastated Officials and aid workers are now able to make their way into parts of the country that were slammed by the storm. They're finding buildings smashed and mud lining the streets.

The village of Charlier, where HFTC has been working since 2012, was in the area of Haiti that was hit hardest by Hurricane Matthew. We are still waiting for word from Charlier and the kids in Port-au-Prince but did find this report which says that Nippes, where Charlier is located, bore the brunt of the hurricane.
