Public Health Advocatesâ REACH Program Safe Routes to School is a movement that aims to make it safer and easier for students to walk and bike to school. It is important not to expose children to traffic dangers. So, we need to advocate for childrenâs health and safety. We can reduce risks by setting up access to more traffic lights, speed bumps, education and crossing guards. But we cannot do this alone. Your community can benefit from safe routes to school! You can join the countless communities that are changing how their streets look and work. To learn more about how you can transform your neighborhood, visit PHAdvocates.org
