Raiders! It’s about that time again… Come out to Open House 2024 on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Returning Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors are to come from 3pm - 5pm. New students and incoming Freshmen, Class of 2028, show at 5pm for the “Welcome to Raider Nation Mixer” (See slide 2 for info) See you there Raiders!!

The Dekalb Schools Title I Math Carnival returns tomorrow and will hosted at Redan High School again this year!

The Math Carnival is this Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 10am - 1pm. Bring the family and friends out to a fun day of games, attractions, food, and music. “Once A Raider, Always A Raider!”

Can you, your mom, dad, sister, cousin, uncle, nephew, niece, or neighbor cook the best Soul Food around? Well have them enter our BHM Soul Food Cookoff.

Here’s how it works, locate the flyer and complete the sign-up link to enter into 1 of 4 categories. The categories are Fried Chicken, Greens, Mac & Cheese, or Desert. There will be a judging system to determine a winner for each category. Each winner will receive a special prize along with bragging rights!

The Soul Food Cookoff event will be held on Feb. 28th at 5:30 pm leading into the evening family & friends production of the 2024 BHM Program. The cost will only be $5 to sample all the amazing entries! Sign Up today! See Mr. Stewart for more information.

Teachers!! We’re “SAVED BY THE BELL!” This week, we celebrate our amazing teachers with Teacher Appreciation Week 2023! This year’s theme is a throwback to the 90s!

Special shoutout to the BEST high school baseball team around! Redan High School wins the title as 2022-2023 Region Champions! The team also held their Senior Night. New Head Coach, Delvin Jordan, leads the team in its continued legacy of greatness! Join us in celebrating our Raiders!!

This week we celebrated International Week 2023! All week, we played music from different cultures during lunch and gave facts about different countries. Our students dressed in their cultural garments and attire to show off their country’s fashions. We wrapped up the week with an International Culture Taste this evening that featured dishes for various cultures right here in our building. Our amazing parents prepared tasty meals and desserts for everyone to try. It was a huge success!

This Sunday, the Redan HS Athletic Hall Of Fame will be inducting Jamil, Patrick, Brandon, and Porsha Phillips. These 4 siblings made a huge impact on Redan Athletics during their years at Redan and went in to create great careers in their perspective sports. Join us in celebrating this special class of inductees.

Come out this Friday and support the team as they take on the Panthers of Southwest Dekalb HS. 7:30pm at Hallford Stadium.
