Here is what a student had to share about her…”I have had the absolute pleasure of having Mrs. Green as my teacher since freshman year and as I go into my senior year with her I only have good things to say about her. Mrs. Green is very deserving of this title as Teacher of the Year because she truly goes above and beyond for all of her students. She knows how to engage her students and has a great way of including all of her students in activities that will engage them and their specific needs. She strives to cater to all her students' academic needs from video tutorials to in-person lessons every student can learn with their learning styles in mind. She is always there when you need help and always willing to give you her advice for academic and personal matters. Throughout high school I have gone through challenges and have watched classmates as they have gone through hard times, Mrs.Green is always there for us and always tries her best to help out! She is truly one of the main reasons I go to school even on the hard days. I truly go because I don’t want to miss out on her class. Mrs. Green is a giver and always celebrates our accomplishments and victories whether it be for her yearbook students or communication technology classes. She doesn't have to but she dedicates so much of her time both in and outside of school to her students. She puts so much thought and effort into her teaching career and it doesn’t go unnoticed.
