Zuni Hills' Summer School is located this summer at Sunset Heights. Students who are currently enrolled can be dropped off directly at Sunset Heights at 7:50 AM. Or, parents can bring their students to Zuni Hills between 7:30 and 7:35 AM, and they will be transported to SH from ZH by school bus at 7:38 AM. Students only need to bring a water bottle--all supplies are provided. !

Ms. Bethany, our Attendance Clerk, is leading the charge to help more of our Grizzlies get perfect attendance and come to school every day on time. !

Congratulations to our former Grizzly students who are graduating from PUSD high schools this week! We are so proud of all of you! Our traditional “Grizzly Walk” through the hallways of Zuni Hills was a great time for these seniors to remember their roots and also to inspire another group of Grizzlies to accomplish their dreams. Zuni Hills fourth graders performed their “Biography Walks” today for other grade levels. What a fun end of year activity to research a famous person and share about their lives. !

Last night, our 8th graders promoted at a beautiful event at Liberty High School. It was wonderful to honor all our students, along with a special classmate who attended in spirit, Peyton Gonzales. It’s Glow Day in first grade! These Grizzlies are “Glow”-ing up and they are almost ready for second grade! !

Mrs. Lynch and Ms. Lime were able to recognize our amazing staff members who have served in Peoria Unified School District for ten, twenty, or thirty years. Congratulations to Mrs. Logan’s third grade class for winning the Firefighter Backpack Donation Charity Challenge! Her class had over 280 backpacks donated with school supplies to help our Peoria Community. Today, they got to have a donut party with Captain Arreguin and his crew! !

Ms. Bambi and Ms. Vala hosted a puppet show called, "Hotel Saguaro" brought to us by The Great Arizona Puppet Theater. Gwen, the amazing puppeteer, shared Grandpa Saguaro's Story with our first through third graders at Zuni Hills. !
