I find it hard to believe I need to write this post, but in the past two weeks, the world has become such a disappointing place to live in.
People should agree on the most essential things but look the other way.

What happened on October 7th is BIGGER than the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and is BIGGER than its history. As a human, you must agree on the basics. After doing that, we can continue fighting about who is right or wrong, but at least we have a common ground from which we can all start. Please share it wherever you can. It seems like some of the humans forget and it’s our job to remind them.

For the last 13 days, this has been our reality. I am done being quiet. I appreciate all the love and support everyone has given me during these days. I am writing this post to educate whoever needs more clarification about what is happening in our world.
I was born and raised in Israel. I served in the military and was an officer, like many of my friends and family.
In 2011, I moved to California with my husband and three kids, living there for 11 years. I opened my interior design business and loved working with all my wonderful clients.
In 2022, we decided to return to Israel with our three kids to live next to our families and friends and allow our children to experience growing up as Israelis. I am still working with my clients in California and thankful for all their support during these horrifying days.
I raise my kids to accept and respect every person regardless of religion, nationality, gender, or orientation. I teach them to ask questions about things they know little about before taking a stance and learn about all sides of a story. This is why I wrote this post. I hope it will help you understand better the reality.

Please join us and show your support against terrorism. Your silence means acceptance. You MUST condemn these barbarians.

I think I’m going to be a pain until the 28th, not just because I want these project to win, but also because I really feel that these projects went through a massive transformation! Well, I know I’m biased but still…
Anyway, these projects are close to my heart because my clients really let me be creative and trusted me, and that makes a lot of difference. I LOVE the outcome even without even talking about the HUGE transformation.

Happy Monday!
After visiting last week in CA and struggling with a hard jetlag, I can tell it’s going to be a busy August! Photo:

Exactly one year ago, we packed our home in CA and moved to Israel. It’s been a crazy, crazy year. One year feels like ten in a lot of ways. It’s hard to summarize a year like that. It started with a high note and, around March, went downhill, but I can feel that I am beginning to climb up again. Tomorrow I will be traveling to CA again to work with my wonderful clients, and this time Ariel is coming with me, and we are very excited. The picture is one of the places that always reminds me why I'm here 😊.

My lovely client asked me if everything is okay since I haven't posted for a while... I told her I hadn't posted because I was busy with many projects in CA, and I am coming to The Bay Area in a week and a half to work my $% #@ off. While reviewing my photos, I realized I never shared this project with you. It is because I didn't have a chance to Profesional photoshoot it like I used to do with some of my projects, but this one is so beautiful that I have to share it even if my photos are lame. I hope you can see beyond my lack of professional photo skills.

My client called me while the house was fully framed and the plumbing fixtures were installed on site and asked me to select materials for the kitchen, five bathrooms, and furniture. From the start, my clients told me they love colors and would like to see as many colors as possible throughout the house, so we started with a dark blue exterior paint and with a pink entrance (which you can't see in these pictures but trust me it is gorgeous!).

When a space has great layout and bones, you just need to use your imagination by selecting diffrent materials.

The dining room in the "Dream Fulfilled in Danville" project, has beautiful classic wainscoting on its walls. When I was thinking about how to upgrade the fireplace in the living room, I knew that I wanted to continue this look into this space, to create visual continuity. The tiles around the fireplace are small calacatta mosaic pieces that reflect the warm tones of the wood floors and the white tones from the walls. Photo: Photoshoot styling:

A 4385SF facelift in Danville including a kitchen remodel and one and a half bathrooms remodel, and furniture selection for the entire house.

The hallway was dark and closed with storage cabinets. Although I will often go with as much storage as possible, in this case, I felt we needed to open up the hallway as much as we could to create a spacious walkway between the family room and the entryway.
I designed a lower closed cabinet and, on top, floating white oak floating shelves against vertical paneling. I especially love the pivoting brass fixtures and this stunning staircase 😍.

Let's talk about this kitchen from the "Old to Bold" project.
Well, in this case, it was not really an "old" kitchen, just not as up-to-date as we knew it could be 😉.
