We are so thrilled to welcome Dr. Gabrielle Wainwright to the Keller ortho team. She joined the practice as my partner in March and has been busy meeting all our patients and referring doctors! She is a wonderful orthodontist and person and we are so excited that she is joining our community. Please give her a warm welcome, and stay tuned for the reveal of our new branding and more!

I had the honor to give a full day lecture to the Peninsula Orthodontic Research Group on January 12. A wonderful day of learning and spending time with colleagues and friends!

Happy New Year Everyone! I’ve always been honest and transparent with my patients, so I’m officially informing everyone of my Covid journey.
1/2/22 (Day Zero) - Start of symptoms, dry cough
1/3/22 (Day 1) - First positive test confirming my suspicion. The office was still on holiday so no patients or staff were exposed. We cancelled all patients who would fall between day 1-5 immediately. Guidance very confusing on how to determine when healthcare workers should go back to work but as a team we agree patient safety is most important. We also arranged for continued coverage of emergency situations needing a doctor.
1/8/22 and 1/9/22 (Day 6 and 7) - I continue to test positive, though symptoms have almost completely disappeared, just an occasional cough. We decided to cancel patients through my Day 10 as we continue to prioritize safety.
Current plan is to return to the office on 1/13/22 (Day 11), but may change based on symptoms or guidance between now and then.
We will be offering all patients the opportunity to delay coming until they feel comfortable, we will continue to be fully transparent and honest. Keeping your trust and maintaining your safety have always been our priority.
Staff are checking messages and emails, and emergency info is still on our voicemail, with colleagues from many other offices standing by ready to help out.
In the meantime I’m just chilling with my dog and watching a lot of Netflix and HBO, if anyone has any good shows to recommend, just comment on this post or DM me!

Got my Covid Booster and Flu shot today! Get protected and stay protected folks!

Found! Thank you to everyone who helped get the word out or looked for Mandi. She was found today in Los Gatos running across Highway 17 and rescued by a Good Samaritan. El Gato Veterinary Hospital in Los Gatos identified her via her microchip and contacted me. It seems she may have been “dog napped” because she seemed in great shape and certainly hadn’t run 12 miles to get to where she was found. Again I’m just so grateful and happy that she is home!
