Thanks to the City of Syracuse - Office of the Mayor for providing us with gloves and trash pickers for neighbors who want to do neighborhood cleanups like this! If you're on the Northside and you're interested in starting your own cleanup, let us know. Every little bit helps!

Thanks to John and Haley for coming out to the monthly neighborhood cleanup yesterday! Not only did they both come back with full trash bags, they also found a wallet! Luckily everything was still in the wallet and we were able to get it back to the owner pretty quickly!

The Onondaga County of Office for Aging is now partnering with GoGoGrandparent Transportation. Available to Onondaga County residents 60 and older to receive 4 free trips per month. Available round the clock 24/7 and does not require to be previously scheduled.

Please be sure to register FIRST with the Office for Aging, which can be reached at (315) 435-2362.

About 2 weeks ago we harvested collard greens from the garden and dropped them off with neighbors who said they were interested and today Mrs. Jones called a volunteer over to her house to pick up a plate of some incredible collard greens (from the garden), ribs, baked mac and cheese and homemade cornbread!

BARTENDER: Must have experience in a high-volume bar environment. EDIT: THE BARTENDER POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED

SERVER: Must have hospitality experience and personality PLUS.

FOOD DUDE/DUDETTE: We have a very limited menu: flatbread pizzas, charcuterie, and appetizer-type items. Food service experience preferred, but will train. EDIT: FOOD DUDE POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED

We are not a typical bar or restaurant.

We are only open when we have live music or a private event, so our schedule is always different. Shows and private events are posted internally months in advance and scheduling is extremely flexible – you can dictate your availability. You will not be working any late nights, we are usually wrapped up by 10-10:30pm. Shifts are typically 3.5 to 5.5 hours long.
