๐Ÿšง Motorists that travel through the Mundy Loss Road and 120th St. E intersection south of Buckley should add extra travel time or use alternate routes next week.

Crews will grind out deteriorated pavement and repave the intersection Aug. 19-22. Work hours will be 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

๐Ÿš— Flaggers will direct traffic through the intersection during work hours. The roads will be reduced to one lane with alternating traffic as needed for the work.

๐Ÿ“ An optional detour route will take motorists โ€“ including those accessing the nearby schools โ€“ along 124th St. E and 274th Ave. E.

โš ๏ธOnce the work is underway, motorists should use caution, as there may be abrupt edges and grooves in the pavement.

Mundy Loss Road between State Route 162 and 112th St. E was chip sealed earlier this summer. This intersection work completes that effort.

๐ŸŒ Any updates will be posted at www.PierceCountyWa.gov/RoadAlerts.
