Our sweet baby Noah was born Monday afternoon💙. He came in with a bang, nothing could have prepared us for his arrival! All glory to God for guiding us and protecting us through one of the most intense moments of my life. Now time to enjoy all the snuggles, we will see you soon!

💙See you all soon! Thanks so much for your patience throughout this pregnancy. Having a toddler while being pregnant and trying to run a business isn’t as easy as I thought it would be. I’m looking forward to getting back into a routine once things settle down. We thank God this pregnancy has been healthy and look forward to meeting Noah in the next few days/hours. This fundraising event is for women through all seasons of life in Thurston County (21 +). You can come with your friends or come by yourself, and they will seat you right away to a table. They will have opportunities to socialize, play Bunco, win prizes, and enjoy a Brunch buffet along with drinks. They are featuring .bubbly.bar_ for some fun pictures. Bunco is a game where you will eventually move from table to table, so do not expect to be sitting at one place during the entire event. They want you to make great connections with people and experience a really fabulous girls’ brunch that we all probably have not had in a while.

🙋🏻‍♀️Hello, I am Vanesa, the owner of Zeke’s Bath Bar! I wanted to drop in to say hello to our new followers and share a little more about me!! Here are some fun facts about. Don’t be shy, comment down below, we want to know a fun fact about you as well!!

•the first soap shop I ever visited was in downtown Tacoma (they’re now located in PA. I met the owners and they were some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. This was almost a decade ago, this is in when I discovered my love for handmade soap)

•I am a huge lover of animals (our house is always filled with animals, mainly dogs 😂)

•I used to work with kids and we practiced Montessori style learning, we implemented this early on with our son Ezekiel and are still fascinated with how quick children learn and adapt.

•Our family is big on 😅, if there’s a fight, you best believe we are watching it!! We also highly recommend if anyone is looking to get into jiu-jitsu!!

•last, but not least, I am huge on minimalism! Our house is pretty empty and I am okay with that. I try my best to only buy things that bring us joy and also donate or sell whatever we no longer use. I turned to minimalism after my mom was diagnosed with cancer back in 2015, it made me value experiences and memories vs material things! The video that changed my life is MINIMALISM: A Documentary About The Important Things - highly recommend watching it!!

👶🏽It’s almost been a year since we started our small business! What a blessing it has been to able to bring Zeke along to our business ventures! Some days are tough and tiring, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. We are extremely grateful for all the wonderful people we have crossed paths with throughout this journey.♥️

🧼Just a crazy soap maker and her lovely loaf of soap! Lol took this pic a while ago, but I wanted to share it cause many of you have asked how I make cold process soap. I absolutely love explaining this process, kids seem to be the most fascinated! 😅

Here is a glimpse of how I usually make soap!

1. Create my recipe
2.Prep my work station and molds
3.Measure my hard oils, liquid oils, essential oils, clays and water
3. Put on my protective gear to measure my lye (sodium hydroxide)
4. Start making soap (protective gear stays on until I’m 100% done with everything)
