2nd Saturdayz is closed for the season.
all of us are getting into our "busy" season. We just cannot get it together for the market. It's been a joy, look for us to pop up again. But NO 2ND SATURDAY THIS WEEK END APRIL 8TH.

See, this is exactly what Dietra and I wanted to do with 2nd Saturdayz, We want a flea market with heart and soul, along with great junk and amazing vendors. Today we did that. Thank you, everyone. I just got this comment from one of our customers. "Linda the show was awesome today, and what you did for my son was amazing, I can't thank you enough for your kindness. You made our day, he can't stop talking about it. so thank you so much! The show is awesome and the dealers you have are Great. Super fun with lots of great people. I love that the show is laid back and relaxing. It's the perfect thing to do on a Saturday morning." That makes me happy, and the kids' table was a huge success.

Come this Saturday to our show - new great vendors and new goodies to see. Remember hours have changed. 9-3 no early buying this time.

On behalf of Dietra and I , I would like to thank all the vendors and customers who came back out to 2nd Saturdayz. I love me a flea market, and it is a total joy to have 2Sat back.

I always equate putting on a show with having a party, at this point it is like having a dysfunctional family over for thanksgiving. Before the dinner, you are planning and plotting, making favors. Right before you get to thinking "what in the hell have I gotten myself into," and during your just running about putting out fires and trying to maintain your wits and the coffee flowing. And above all don't let the outsiders, in our case the customers, see you sweat. Then the clean up, and your thinking I am never hosting another dinner for those fools again, and then as they are walking out the door you realize that your life would lose some spark without them in it. And that night, with your feet up, your planning the next..........and so it goes for me.

This has been a grim few years for me, and having 2Sat back in my life is exactly what the Dr ordered. Thank you to everyone, esp Dietra who suggested I start it up again and the took my dare to help me with it. See you all next month.

OK everyone, tomorrow is our show at our great new venue at Second Use Building Materials, 3223 6th Avenue South, in S**o, two blocks south of Franz Bakery Outlet. We have some great vendors from all parts of the northwest and one East Coast person with one of a kind interesting things.

Tomorrow is the big day. First show at our new venue. We have some great dealers, one from the East Coast and several new people with great things. Come see all the fun stuff tomorrow.

A few of the treasures to be found at the January 14 2nd Saturdays flea market

Hi everyone. We've been having a little trouble with the correct times showing on facebook. The market is this Saturday . Second Use Building Materials (the building adjacent to it). 3223 6th Avenue S - two blocks south of the Franz Bakery outlet.

The first 20 customers will receive the traditional gift bags.

Early buyers are 8 am at $5.00
Regular admission is 9 am at $2.00

If you have trouble with parking there is a second gravel lot behind Second Use on the northwest side of the building.
This is our first show at this venue so bear with us of we encounter any confusion. We hope to work it all out by the next one.

In February the starting time will be 9:00 am with no early buyers.

The venue for 2nd Saturdayz is also a place where everyone will want to shop. Second Use has some great vintage and decorating items.

We are excited to have this new place to sell our goodies.

January 14. Mark your calendar

We are so excited to have a great place to hold 2Sat once again. 2nd Use is renting their event space to us starting January 14th and every 2nd Saturday after ending in May. I have been wanting to bring 2nd Saturdayz back to Seattle, and 2nd Use and the S**O district is a great fit. We will be looking for vintage vendors and space is limited, so call Dietra @206-310-9267 and get on the list, we will get back to you with all the details.

Vendors, free this Thursday............I know Vickie will be on the street and Pearl the Pug is bringing her owner.....Gerry & Sandy, so come on down. Show up between 9-11 set up and sell to the folks headed to the Famous Thursday Farmers Market.

Next Thursday, next Flea, 10-4.

The Flea is Tomorrow, June 11th, The Farmers Market is on the South side of 9th and the Flea is on the North. Always looking for vintage, and handmade vendors.

Jason at Brandys Attic will be handeling the Flea Market on Thursday while I am at Farm Chicks. The same drill, just do what he say's and everything should be alright........maybe.

If you are planning to be a vendor at the flea tomorrow, park your car on the street, my store is Linda's 760 Broadway, I will give you meter money, then I will assign you a spot on the side walk, pay 25.00, unload, go park in the garage or you will have to pay the meter all day. Vintage and handmade, set up starts at 8:30,

2nd Saturday is hosting the Broadway Flea, every Thursday all summer long. 10-4ish, $25.00, table spaces only, vintage and handmade. Bring your own table and chair, enjoy a day on Broadway hanging with my tribe, it's always a good time.

2nd Saturdayz is in the process of planning an weekly summer European style Flea on Antique Row, Broadway, in Downtown Tacoma. Just tying up loose ends with the city and we hope to begin as soon as next week. It will coincide with the weekly Tacoma Farmers Market on Thursdays, 10-3. What I am looking for is some vintage or handmade goods vendors. Check back for details in a few days.

I am looking for a location. Anyone know of anything? Want something urban, not country.
