Welcome to our church service
Come join us as we craft! A Christmas craft for adults and kiddos.
Happy Thanksgiving! Here is a psalm of joy to bless our day.
"O come, let us sing to the LORD;
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!
For the LORD is a great God,
and a great King above all gods.
In his hand are the depths of the earth;
the heights of the mountains are his also.
The sea is his, for he made it,
and the dry land, which his hands have formed.
O come, let us worship and bow down,
let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!
For he is our God,
and we are the people of his pasture,
and the sheep of his hand.
O that today you would listen to his voice!"
Psalm 95:1-7a (NRSV)

A belated thank you to the lawns and gardens crew for their amazing work last Saturday. They trimmed the branches above the power lines, filled holes in the lawn, and did some needed maintenance in the flower beds. The chickens are impressed and so are we. Thank you!
Don’t forget to come shop and support local vendors this Friday and Saturday!
Also, save the date for Saturday, November 18th for our prayer vigil as we enter the Advent season. All are welcome!
Our quilters have been busy! Thank you to all who brought in supplies for personal care kits and school kits.
We are dropping out 24 quilts, 16 personal care kits, and 35 school kits this week to Lutheran World Relief to be sent all over the world where needed!
A HUGE thank you to all who helped out with our trunk or treat. Everyone had a great time!
Join us on Sunday for treats and games!
Our partner, MultiCare Celebrate Seniority, is offering a FREE Medicare 101 seminar. Learn Medicare basics, including how to lower your monthly premium, find which plan will cover your medication costs, how to enroll and much more.
This educational seminar is brought to you by Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisor (SHIBA) and Celebrate Seniority volunteer David Wilson. SHIBA is an unbiased educational service that provides confidential information pertaining to Medicare. This one-hour presentation will be followed by a one-hour breakout session to address questions.
Our bazaar is right around the corner! Mark your calendar.
Thank you to everyone in the Lawns and Garden group! They have been pruning bushes, attacking overgrown hedges, and tackling blackberries (safely). I know that Bill, Cindy, Steve, and Paul helped. Anyone else?
Come get your flu shot!
"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from the words of my groaning?" - Psalm 22:1
The words of the psalmist can be applied to those involved in the conflict in Israel and Gaza now, whether they live in the area or are watching with sorrowful hearts. Let us pray for all who are afraid. Pray for those who are filled with anguish. Pray for those who only see enemies instead of fellow humans beloved by God. May they listen to God's voice and will for their lives. As the psalmist continued, "They cried to you and were saved; in you they trusted and were not disappointed." (Psalm 22:5)
Indigenous Peoples’ Day is a day to celebrate the important gifts our Indigenous siblings bring to our church and society. It's also a day to reflect and learn more about the Tribal nations and increase our understanding of the colonizing impacts on and the experiences of Indigenous people in the past. One way in which the church has been invited into this learning is through the ELCA’s Truth & Healing Movement.
