We love seeing our PE Students experiencing First Tee at school! Way to go Lighthouse Christian School, Gig Harbor, Washington, we had a blast with your incredible students!

Last week, our elementary PE classes teamed up with First Tee - South Puget Sound, a youth development organization that integrates the game of golf with life skills curriculum. Students, including 3rd graders Stella and Winifred, pictured here, worked on putting, chipping, and driving skills in PE class. ⛳ 🏌️

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our Board Chair, Richard Schmalz. Richard was an amazing board member since 2020, he cared about the First Tee mission and our participants so much, and was an incredible leader for our organization.

Personally, Richard was the nicest individual you would ever have the pleasure of meeting. His laugh was contagious, his thoughtfulness unmatched, and his genuine care of those around him made everyone feel loved. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and two children as they navigate this unimaginable time.
