For all our 7th graders!!!
The 7th and 8th Grade Band students had an amazing time at the Maple Valley Days Parade! Way to go T-Birds!
PE/Related Arts Night was a HUGE success! Thank you to our staff, students and families for making this a great day for our T-Bird Family!!!
Mr. Drugge took 17 students over to Columbia Jr High School to participate in a Pickleball exhibition match and the T-Birds did not disappoint! It was a great time with the sun out and some friendly competition. Our students represented Ford well with their positive sporting behavior and their pickleball skills! It was especially impressive as Columbia has only 8th and 9th grade students, and most of our participants were 6th and 7th grade students. Highlight reels came from 6th graders Mason Tews and Eli Chang who were dominating the winners court all afternoon!
BIG Shoutouts to Cruz-Williams for a lot of behind-the-scenes organization and communication to make the event go smoothly and Fiest for his coordination with Columbia to make the event happen. They both stepped up big time, and I had the fun part, taking the kids over there!
Last night was the Athletic Awards in the PAC. Students were recognized for Scholar Athlete, Rising Star, Inspirational Teammate and Athlete of the Year. We also have TWO Coach of the Year recipients from our staff! Way to go Mr. Feist and Nurse Hadley!
