Photographing this lovely lady’s bo***ir session this morning and I’m so excited. Outdoor first then indoor! ♥️📸♥️

Gianna - Class of 2024!!!

This lovely lady was one of the first kiddos I ever photographed back in 2008 or maybe 2009. It's been such an honor watching her grow as I photographed her over the years. It was actually so hilarious about 2/3 of the way through her session, I saw her eyes light up and she said "OH - Are you the one who took photos of me with the bunnies?". It took me a second to process what she was talking about because when I took those photos I think she was about 8 years old. 🤣 And I have definitely photographed her since then. I do love that memory though. (I don't know if she remembers this part...but I do...we had about 4-5 baby bunnies and in the middle of the photoshoot they started trying to make more baby bunnies! LOL)

Gianna plays golf and is a gymnast and from the posts I see her momma sharing, she's darn good at both! Talented and beautiful inside and out. Congratulations Gianna...you're about to graduate and I'm looking forward to watching your next steps as you head out into the world and do great things!

I was so excited to photograph Aura. She had come in years ago for Santa photos with her family and until she booked her session I didn't realize she'd been considering a bo***ir session for a while. When I offered a special to fill a cancelation she jumped on the opportunity as a sign that it was her time.

I loved the classic vibes that Aura brought to her session and the fact that she wanted to do this for herself! She made a gift for her hubby but ultimately this session was for her.

You know what...I'll share her review so you can read straight from her keyboard to your screen how she felt about the experience!

- I finally did it! After following Angie on Facebook after she took a Santa picture with my son 11 years ago, I finally put myself first for my 50th birthday present and made the appointment for my first bo***ir session. From the moment I scheduled my appointment online three months ago, up until yesterday, Angie has continually walked me through the entire process and has been my biggest cheerleader and encourager. She is friendly, courteous, professional, creative, fun, and made me feel comfortable in my own skin even through the nervousness of being photographed. Empowered sums up my experience. Angie, thank you for so much more than just the gorgeous pictures! -

You don't hire me simply to click a button. The magic begins in the studio and it continues through every step of the process until you're holding your portraits in your hands.

This stunning human was futured back in December on my holiday set, but here's a totally different look for her on a set that I just LOVE.

When I walked into my old studio I was SO excited about this peacock chair that my previous studio mate Tonya had gotten. I have always wanted to get one and now I'm definitely even more smitten after this session!!

When Liz originally booked her session we were thinking outside, flannel and beer. She's an avid hiker and runner and is outside exploring all the time...Doing a session outdoors would have been amazing! HOWEVER, the weather did not cooperate with us since I was traveling and had little opportunity to reschedule we opted for an indoor session.

I absolutely love the powerful feminine energy in these photos. On most days you'd find Liz in a beanie, glasses, no makeup...but in these portraits, she got to portray a different side and to see herself in a different way. These photos aren't meant to look like every day Liz or to make her feel like she's supposed to look this way. Sometimes I feel like with professional hair and makeup that is this dramatically different from a daily look people might question if that's really representing the person. BUT...who doesn't love a good day of dress up? Of tapping into a side of us that we don't always see. Why not explore different vibes? (And also - now she has a reason for another session...because who doesn't want to get treated like an absolute Queen more than once?)

Which is why there are totally different sets and outfits from her session. While her hair and makeup is the same in all the photos, we totally touch on her love of flannel and jeans on a different set. She has a ton of fun in the bathtub set...I can't wait to share all of her different photos! But for this epic day (Including her session, ordering appointment and dinner we spent like 9 hours together) I figured I would break up sharing her photos into the different sets that we captured.

I hope you enjoy these images and that you show Liz some love. She stepped outside of her comfort zone a lot in many ways and I am so glad that she did. ❤

You are my sunshine T***y Tuesday!

It was an honor and pleasure to photograph miss Amanda while I was in Washington back in October. Amanda was able to jump in and snag one of my impromptu mini session when a client had to cancel due to a family emergency. I am so glad she did since I've been chatting with her or her hubby on and off about getting her in for a session for about 2 years...and this was the trip back home where the timing was perfect! ❤

Her hubby knew about the photos, but kept the images secret until she was able to gift him an accordion book for Christmas. Such a fun surprise. :)

I know, I know...the holidays are over, but this T***y is still feeling the holiday vibes! Any one else still have their tree up? I'm pretty sure mine will be up until at least Valentine's day. :)
