Safely arrived at Covecrest! Got in a little after 3:00.

We've made great time so far. Current ETA still 8:30. Just took off after dinner. No further stops expected.

We arrived to Hidden Lake just before 3:00, making it to the traveler's Mass. Just got the new wifi password! Phone reception is terrible, but wifi amazing. Youth getting ready for dinner soon, then first session.

Dear Teens & Parents,

Starting this August, I will be a Theology teacher at St. John Paul II, as well as serving with its campus ministry. I’m thrilled to know that so many of our teens at Life Teen are already there. I am excited that I may get to see many of the teens even more at my new job. I am grateful to make the summer trips with everyone this year, including our first Steubenville trip.

Teens, you will always matter to me. Serving with you and journeying with you has been one of the great blessings and privileges of my life. Please be welcoming toward our new youth minister. There will be a different person, likely with a different approach. I ask that you embrace those differences. Change can be hard, but it is necessary for us to be able to grow. I offer my own support to the new youth minister as well.

Parents, I thank you for the trust you placed in me. I hope that in this new position I will be able to work even closer with the teens, and to help them to grow more.

I appreciate your prayers for myself and my family, and assure you of my own prayers for you and yours. And I look forward to sharing your friendship in the years to come.
