Line cooks are responsible for prepping ingredients, cooking and assembling dishes, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures. As well as maintaining ingredients, products, chemicals, and all aspects of facility sanitation.

Saying farewell to two wonderful team members on the same day is never an easy feat.

Bridget:
If you’ve been by Liberty over the last few years, you’ve certainly ran into Bridget, who has been on our team for 3 years! Most recently you may have enjoyed much needed Mimosas or Bloody Maryss as she has been bartending at our weekend brunches.

One of her favorite traditions of Liberty has always been our bon voyage festivities, where we celebrate our tenured employees when they head off on their next adventure. It is very bittersweet for Bridget to now find herself on the receiving side of the celebration.

Be sure to swing by brunch today for her last shift to wish her luck as she continues her bartending journey in Miami!

Daphne:
After joining our team as a barback a year ago, she quickly worked her way to bartender, and from there, stepped up as a bar lead. Her legacy at Liberty will continue past her last shift, as she has crafted a delicious cocktail that will be on our new drink menu, coming soon!

Join us in welcoming Sydney, our new Bar Program Manager! With 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry and over a decade of experience as a bartender, Sydney is a bright, passionate leader that fits right in with the Liberty spirit.

Sydney’s appreciation for the bartending world is obvious when you meet her. Her career in hospitality is guided by her fascination of the evolution of the beverage world. We’re very excited to see where Sydney will take the program, as she plans to continue to emphasize continuous learning and creativity in our bar menu. Syd knows that a bar is more than the drinks it serves; to her, customers should always expect detail and care with personable staff and a unique, individualized experience you can’t get anywhere else.

A Liberty guest herself before joining our team, some of Syd’s favorite cocktails on our menu are our smokey, citrusy Naked & Afraid and our spicy and refreshing Golden Hour. Her go-to classic is simple and neat: bourbon with a big cube, preferably Woodford, Old Grandad, or Old Forrester. As for her favorite dish, she loves our OG Chicken Sandwich for its messy and classic delicious flavors, but she can’t help but miss our iconic Reuben Burger.
