Their team’s pitch tackled real issues faced by the arthritis community, showcasing the impact students can make through research and social entrepreneurship.

It was a joy to gather with friends and alumni in the Judy Genshaft Honors College to celebrate Dean Stuart Silverman, the inaugural dean of the Honors College, with the unveiling of our new Silverman Walkway. The ceremony recognized Dr. Silverman's foundational contributions to USF and the Honors community.

We are forever grateful for his dedication and hard work in helping so many University of South Florida students achieve their academic dreams!

Hello, everyone! My name is Jayna Jennas and I am a rising junior double majoring in biomedical science and public health minoring nutrition at the Honors College. I was awarded the Benjamin A. Gilman scholarship and was able to fund my study abroad trip to Bolivia partnering with Children Family Health International (CFHI). I will be taking over the Honor’s Instagram to answer questions about the Gilman scholarship, Bolivia, health care rotations in La Paz, and the Uyuni Salt Flats. Who's ready to celebrate? The countdown to the Honors Summer Graduation Celebration Ceremony is on! 🤘🎉

Kudos to Honors faculty member Atsuko Sakai for presenting at the Florida Educational Facilities Planners’ Association (FEFPA) Summer Conference last week in Boca Raton. Congratulations also to our partners at Fleischman Garcia Maslowski Architecture, who won first place in the FEFPA Architectural Showcase college/university category for their work on the USF Judy Genshaft Honors College building! This award recognizes criteria such as innovative response to educational programming, aesthetics and use of materials, green design, and more!

Germany and Poland: Honors Confronting the Holocaust 2024. USF Honors students traveled abroad to study the history of modern Europe, gaining a deeper understanding of the rise of fascism and how different groups have dealt with the reverberations of the Holocaust over time.

It takes a lot to be an Honors student ... and even more to be named a University of South Florida Muma College of Business 25 Under 25!

From biomedical engineering and business analytics to accounting, tech, and art, recent awardees O’Carson Fils and Yuki Shao share their stories of leadership and growth.

One month until we celebrate our Summer 2024 grads! The Honors Summer Graduation Celebration Ceremony is Friday, Aug. 2, at 11 a.m. in the Judy Genshaft Honors College building on the USF Tampa campus. Grads can check their USF email for ceremony details and to RSVP.

Honors rocks! Students in the special Maymester Fossil Hunters course explored theories of fossilization and fossil types, then traveled to sites near Cincinnati, OH, to dig up bryozoans, crinoids, and more!
