CMS issued two significant new 2024 Final Rules that will require changes to payer operations within the area of prior authorizations (PA): CMS Final Rules 0057-F and 4201-F. Payers need to assess the impacts these rules will have on their operations, plan accordingly and make the necessary changes in order to remain compliant with CMS while also ensuring efficient and timely PA processing.

MHK congratulates Mount Sinai Health System for being recognized as the 2024 recipient of the Hearst Health Prize, an award presented by MHK's parent company, Hearst Health, in partnership with the UCLA Center for SMART Health.
