Every first Sunday of the month, we set aside time to pray for the men of COBC. Pray that the men of our church would grow in knowledge and love for God's Word, as they seek to live it out as faithful and humble leaders wherever they are called.
"Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain." 1 Corinthians 15:58
Nevertheless, I am continually with You; you hold me by my right hand. Psalm 73:23. 
Therefore, we also, since we are surrounded by so great, a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sun which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance, the race that is set before us. Hebrews 12:1.

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might through his spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints, what is the width and length, and depth and height, to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:16–19. 
Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance. Psalm 89:15. 
For as the heavens are higher than the Earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9.

This week, we're praying for our cross cultural workers! Be praying that our CCWs would have endurance and perseverance as they continue to face the challenges that come with spreading the Gospel. Pray that the Lord would protect them against spiritual attack, and that they would have joy in trials that come. Pray that many would respond in faith because of their obedience to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
"Sing to the Lord, all the earth! Tell of his salvation from day to day." 1 Chronicles 16:23
