Extracting beautiful orange honey today with my buddy Auguste. He has come a long way with beekeeping since he saw me in my bee suit in Tractor Supply and asked me if I would teach him beekeeping. He has been an awesome student and is doing bee removals now. Proud of this guy!

It’s never a good day when there is a fire right where your beeyard is. Thank you to Cal fire for getting it out so fast! No, it wasn’t me that started the fire but beekeepers - make sure that you have a shovel and fire extinguisher with you at all times because the fire can start so fast from an ember. We still don’t know the cause of the fire, but a lot of fires are started accidentally by beekeepers . Thank you

These bees had outgrown this cute birdhouse! They were rehomed to my apiary and are enjoying their new, larger hive.

Honey Bee Adoption Day! This father and son are taking home two colonies today! This was possible because someone chose live bee removal.
