It's not like we don't want company, but based on the information below, I recommend avoiding Wine Country from March 16th till March 27:

Temecula Wine Country Road Work: Detours To Favorite Wineries The Rancho California Road roundabout will be closed later this month as workers prepare to completely restore the Anza Road roundabout.
Our 2021 Christmas bottling is complete🍷
It's been a down year here. Due to Covid and some other issues we decided to not harvest. After all we have over 250 gallons waiting to be bottled. That will yield about 1250 bottles or over 100 cases. Great idea eh? Well, apparently not as we are now faced with a
very serious wine (and other) bottle shortage. There are currently no realistic estimates when things may normalize. I've been told to "call every couple of weeks" with hopes that there may be a break. Fingers crossed here. Cheers!!!!
Indeed!

It's National Wine Day, CHEERS!!!!!!!!!
Two fabulous weddings in two days but 330 miles apart. Fallbrook on May 7 and Scottsdale on May 8. Five cases of 2019 Cab-Merlot each. Congrats to both Camerin Valle/Spurgeon and Darlene Robetcky/Goosen. Both were Stunning, Beautiful Brides........Cheers 🍷
I'm guessing the job has been filled by now but this would have been a fun year for someone.

A winery will pay you $10,000 a month to work and live rent-free in Sonoma This month, Murphy-Goode Winery announced a new position with its team in Sonoma. Not only would the lucky candidate get to move to California -- they'd get to live there rent-free for a year, with a $10,000 monthly paycheck.
For all of our friends that are freezing right now, CHEERS!
If true I would be a highly qualified wine genius by now. Gotta keep tryin I guess.....
Our 2020 Year-End release. Certainly one to remember...CHEERS!
We got a nice surprise today. Our good friends and emerging winemakers Karla and Paula sent us a couple of bottles of their first bottling. It appears to be a very nice blend too. Can't wait to try it CHEERS🍷🍷🍷🍷

Huge 50,000-liter wine tank ruptured at the Bodegas Vitivinos winery in Villamalea, Spain
Racking about 80 Gallons of 2020 Cab-Merlot....
Today, the fun project was "Racking Off The Gross Lees" from about 200 Gallons. Essentially that means transferring from one tank to another and back again whilst leaving the dead yeast and other sediments behind. That stuff is nasty and can add lots of off-flavors to the wine.
Today we pressed around a Ton of 2020 varietals, Tempranillo, Cab Sauv & Cab-Merlot. Not sure we've ever been this tired.
Vineyard helper/taster assists with harvest.....
Today was harvest and crush day. We now have 105 Gallons of Cab-Merlot, 80 Gallons of Cab Sauv & 80 Gallons of Tempranillo waiting to undergo fermentation tomorrow.
Just found out it's National Red Wine Day. Luckily we have a little....
With Harvest coming next week, we needed to bottle some of our aged and aging varietals to make room. Today it was 14 Cases. or168 bottles, or about 34 Gal of 2018 Cab Sauv. That leaves us with about 135 Gallons of other 2018 & 2019 Varitals. The wine aging room is rapidly filling up & we can't throw a big party (yet) to lighten the load.
